Both. Some patients with EDS have had some issues with BPC-157 over the years, especially when there is underlying MCAS, but we still trial it in those patients. If you're struggling with joint pain from the EDS though, it would be worth considering seeking out some PRP or stem cell therapy injections. We have found this to have the greatest impact once we get the right supplements and peptides on board. But for the peptides, I will caution you with this. Currently the injectable peptides cannot be obtained through a compounding pharmacy, which means people are left to purchase them from online websites. These websites don't have the sterility level of a compounding pharmacy, and we have seen too many people get dosed with endotoxins because of the sterility issues. Some patients just get local red reactions, but we've seen some other pretty serious side effects because of this. So strong word of caution on buying injectable peptides online.

They work the same, regardless if you do injectable or oral. It's a misconception IMO that one is better for MSK and one is better for oral

Which one is best for EDS?
Both. Some patients with EDS have had some issues with BPC-157 over the years, especially when there is underlying MCAS, but we still trial it in those patients. If you're struggling with joint pain from the EDS though, it would be worth considering seeking out some PRP or stem cell therapy injections. We have found this to have the greatest impact once we get the right supplements and peptides on board.
But for the peptides, I will caution you with this. Currently the injectable peptides cannot be obtained through a compounding pharmacy, which means people are left to purchase them from online websites. These websites don't have the sterility level of a compounding pharmacy, and we have seen too many people get dosed with endotoxins because of the sterility issues. Some patients just get local red reactions, but we've seen some other pretty serious side effects because of this. So strong word of caution on buying injectable peptides online.
Would any peptides help a herniated disc?

The peptides may be helpful for reducing pain in some people, but truthfully you should be looking into intradiscal PRP injections. This is what we do in our clinic for herniated discs. I also had this done on myself 8 months ago, and I'm >95% better from a single high dose PRP injection into my L4/L5 and L5/S1 discs.

How long can you take bpc 157 oral?
What about side effects while taking. I notice if I dose 500mcg orally Mon-Fri, by Wed and Thurs I have a lasting headache. Is there anyway to minimize these? Is this a concern and indication to stop taking completely?

Hmmm interesting. You could try dropping your dose to 250mcg subQ as you probably don't need 500mcg subq

Is there any chance of oral BPC-157 causing gyno? Or anything like that?
I believe it messed with my hormones a little bit and made me develop gyno! But could have just been my source I got it from
