- Chasing After You takes a twist on modern romance, after a young male pursues a single mother with no interest in a relationship; other than her one with God. Michael, the leading male, continues to show persistent for the leading lady Elise, only to be greeted with rejection. Single mother Elise is focused on her spiritual relationship but continues to get reminded that she may never be forgiven by the people that visit her in her past relationships.

Great movie. I thought the ending would be predictable and that we'd see girl and guy get together but the real message was sharing the Gospel and how you never know how God will use you. They both learned alot from knowing each other. God showed them both how to release their past and follow Him. The other stuff that may or may not come is not important. I like how they didnt dive from the purpose of the message
Yes this was a good movie and very refreshing. I wonder if Mike and Elise would finally be together. I felt so sad for Mike he was a good guy and he wanted someone to love and have a family. I think there so many people out in the world just like Mike. We have to be careful of our walk . God want us to be a light for him so people can see the love on us. The greatest commandment God said was to love one another as I have love you..🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
It’s important to be a light and show kindness but it doesn’t mean she is supposed to be with him. The word says , do not be unequally yoked with non believers . She was being self righteous with how she was treating him but was right to not engage in a Romantic relationship .

This a really good movie. It shows that you never forget what God brought you from. It teaches never judge a book by it’s cover, it teaches that it’s not what people say, it’s what God says. God gives second chances and sometimes more chances; so others deserves second chances when God is in it. Just an inspirational movie. Loved it.🙏👍😀🙏

Yes, there are good men around. Often they get over locked. I avoided my husband for 10 years. I refused to go out with him. Then something incredible happen. He had left town for several month. When he came back he showed up at my work place. Our eyes met, electricity crackled between us. I couldn't catch my breath. That was the moment I fell in love with him. We married a year later and I never regretted it. We where together for 33 years, than cancer took him away from me. He is gone now for 14 years and I still miss and mourn him. I never locked at another man. I will be his till I join him in the afterlife. I know he is waiting for me. I still wear my wedding ring. He was the love of my life. My heart is 💔now and I'm still in love with him. I will be till I die. RIP my knight in shining armor. I also had him finally going to church with me. One time he told me if I keep going to church he would leave me. No he didn't. I convinced him to go to church with me. We both loved it. Praise God.

@@jstkmw2639 Yes, it was a big wow for me too. I still don't understand what really happen. I avoided him for 10 years, then it hit me hard. We couldn't get enough of each other. Every day around noon, I went to his work place and told him it was time for a break. The day he came home from the hospital for the last time, he told me marrying him was the best he ever done, and he thanked me for it that I finally excepted him. We were everything to each other and he still is. He knows that I always stayed true to him and he to me. We were made for each other. It took 10 years before I realized that. One time while we were on the road to Texas, I had to stop at a laundromat. I was folding his tee shirts and made sure no wrinkles showed. Some women watched me and said, I have never seen anyone fold tee shirts like you. I told her they were my husband shirts and I wanted him to look good in his shirt. He never wore wrinkle clothing. even his work pants had a crease in it. I never thought it possible that I could fall in love with a man I denied going out with for 10 years.

This movie is eye opening in the way we prejudge others according to our belief systems without giving them an opportunity to show us their intentions. Alise was so caught up in Mike not having a relationship with GOD that she forgot to be open and allow him to experience GOD through her without forcing him to come to church or bible study. Arrogance can be displayed in more than one manner and her superiority complex about religion was an interesting thing to watch. She possessed more fear of a loving man and an honest relationship when she kneeled to GOD for direction. If only more people would love, be kind, and understanding things would workout.

So the ending. It looked like the last thing she mouthed to him was “bye mike”. So no relationship just friends? I think there should have been more to the ending. But her just forgetting about the men and re-focusing on God is a good message. I felt like I wanted to see more at the end though. A last conversation between them, they left off on bad terms

This movie is refreshing though I do not like the ending. Why couldn't they be together? The movie ends with both not finding peace and love in each other. Nonetheless, a nice production.
I know what it’s like not accepting someone because they don’t know who God is, the world can seem rather lonely, but we can always show someone who God is by being patient, we can lead the horse but it’s up to them if they want to receive the heavenly Fathers beauty, otherwise let them go.. sad but, it’s for the best.

Why do certain people find it hard to be single🤔?when you're single,' you have freedom from Domestic abuse and getting cheated on. Dating doesn't do anything but destroy your life.
