- It's been a long time coming that I've wanted to run this experiment for a long time, but I've been holding off on actually doing it because I don't want to change everything up when it's already so good. But.. as you'll see the evidence is obvious and it's a change that has to happen for me.

What is the flight time on these?
Bro i like your videos but your videos are too long for 2
Couple important informations. Now i have to watch 20 min to know what is better... at least do info in seek bar so i can watch just section. All the best
Thanks for the video. I'm a rookie in FPV and this really helps explain things if I decide to make a move to 6S.
Please share 4s Cinewhooop parts list.
Epic Intro Paul! I like it that you integrate the old Season 1 DRL Racer as Prep-Light so much.
Hey man thanks for this video! I've only been into fpv on & off for a year. Even though I started with a 5in quad, your videos have inspired me to focus on getting better footage. Eventually I'm doing a cinewhoop build and I'll make the 6s version this time around.
Oh man. The build intro. ……… editing skills on point. Well done man!
Love the cinematic style in editing (not just the quad flying, but the build, timelapse, focus pull on the soldering etc!!!)
Super professional looking!!! And more fun than the usual FPV vids!!!
Thank you! I like having fun and playing with different tools to see what kind of content we can get.
I think that you have easily the best workbench building shots in the industry! Would like to see even more workbench b-roll and those great wide angle workshop build videos.
Now if you follow Nurk on his vlog website and you go through his squirt build journal, you’ll notice he reccomended 6s for the Squirt long ago. So even though I knew 6s was the best way to go, it was nice to see this through from a visual perspective like we have here. Thanks Nurk! 👏
The build overview was very good, the lights, the Music and cuts woow
Love the feature on the video!! Thank you!! I'll look into getting a 6s now!
I've been flying the 6s Taycan for 7 months and love it especially the punch-outs and less sag towards the end of the battery.
Just got the 6S version of the Cinelog35... Paired with the Hero 10 Bones. Love it. Feels like its on rails. Smooth as butter with more power than you'll ever need in a Cinewhoop 👌🏼
Awesome flying and testing, Paul! Really nice! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Ok Im glad to know that you have some of the same results from your 6s shendron that I do. I don't know any better , my very first drone was a shendron 6s, and I think my flying style is too aggressive for a cinawhoop. Im waiting for DJI new FPV to come out before buying another drone because I feel I need a more acrobatic drone to fly . I have managed to get some dives out of the 6s shendron but its always a struggle, same with flips and stuff, but Im terribly slow on the sticks .
i think you have the more informative content, amazing like always!
Glad you think so!
The other episode, you slapped on 8 blade props on your non cine-whoop. I'd love to know the difference on an actual cinewhoop!
He already did this in another vid I think
I just want a set of those blades lol
@@dronepilot260rc bingo
Thanks - I had already decided going 6S for my squirt build....but I'm using higher KV :)
So I built this same build. With stock PIDs the motors seem to get too hot, is that normal or am I not use to the heat for 3in builds?
dude this video was so so helpful. my drone was up in the air quicker just because of your help. I do however seem to have an issue with yaw washout, I am using all the same parts as you, with the only exception being the stack. are you able to lend a hand at all with this?
That intro was so dramatic! I also had to hide behind my pillow!! 😝
Great stuff as usual. 👍🏻
Nice production 👍 I have always flown the 4s now I will have to try a 6s.... What Slider do you use on the B-Roll?
Hey nurk could you try the iflight protek 35 with those 8-blade props to hopefully make a really quiet and snappy "cinewhoop"? Would be pretty nice since normal cinewhoops are really loud.
Awesome video and your channel rocks! I'm in 👍🏼🔥
How about a deep dive into some funky squirt blackbox data?
Seriously would be interesting to see blackbox data comparison for the 300 ft dives to visualize what's happening with 4s vs 6s. Would doing a half roll on the way down help with the saturation issue?
Perfect timing. I have a 6s Squirt coming from QSL next week. Not that I didn't believe Troy's suggestions... 😉
Perfect!
Nurk, love the video brother. I see that you use a mixture of different batteries for your equipment, you have Tattu linked as batteries you used in the video for the 6S but if I'm not mistaken they were Ovonic? I know for sure you were using Ovonic for the goggles but I wondering if in the future you make a video regarding what branded batteries you use for each purpose and why you use them. I'm still relatively new to this hobby and have three different brands being Tattu, Ovonic and CNHL. Also, I'm in Aus and everything is so much more expensive here due to the "aussie tax" and found that Ovonics are more affordable and better accessible to me. Thanks again for you all do, keep up the awesome vids :)
Hi there! love the channel! Nice to meet you I'm! I'm just getting back into the sport, looking for a 2.5 or 3.0 true cinawhoop for cinema and a reasonable degree of acro, and maybe if I can get it to hold a cam, so I am gravitating toward (don't laugh, lol) a budget one that has the monsterous power they're known for, I hear the ones with no foam fly best. ur thoughts? Also, and most importantly, I have my spektrum focal v2, which I believe was the fatshark attitude v3. Seems your career began well before those came put and was wondering if I should plan to keave those as is and get an analogies cinewhoop? or do I need to upgrade to digital and DVr or am I obsolete, or maybe atleast ok analog? if they won't work, maybe I'll skip the cinewhoop and get the tinyhawk 2 combo with the headset, and a insta360, perhaps? I found the hawk for 120, rtf pkg, anyway, you seem to be 8ne of the master guru's and I would love any advice! thanks!
In the dives I believe what's happening is the prop ducts are creating a venturi effect across the top and causing a vacuum pulling the quad forward when speed builds up on the dive...wonder if making the top inlets of them squared off cylinders if the issue gets better??
Thanks for the test. I would like to build this one in 6S. What do you think with motors like BROTHERHOBBY 1507 - 1900KV ? Do you think the KV will be enough ?
Hey Nurk, what about the 2204 and other "flat" style motors for cinewhoops? Don't those do a much better job than the 1507 slimmer taller types that get real hot? Oh and did you tune those before flying? The yawing in dives issue is one I've had and struggled with most when it comes to cinewhoops, I always figured it had something to do with the ducts messing up the airflow during dives, but what's the actual solution? Yours are dialed in and dive forever before they start spooling up the yaw, mine start almost immediately in the dive. >.
I'd love to see a betaflight 4.3 tuning video on a squirt. I have no clue how you were able to fly yours on a stock betaflight tune. Mine struggles with yaw washout SOO badly.
Paul! 10mos ago was your update on your charging box. If you were to build one today, which chargers would you use? I ask because I am noticing that the Q6 line is apparently no longer in production?
Very nice. Can you do a build video on this build?
I switched my Green Hornet to 6s after the first few flights...It handles the Bigger GoPro a lot better. Granted it's nowhere near the quality you're running but I really enjoy it! Thanks for another great video!
Glad you liked it!
What was the wind speed that day? I live in a really windy area. I currently run a 5" 6S quad about 800g with GoPro that handles wind really well, but precision in tight quarters is lacking. I'm considering moving to a platform like the 6S cinewhoop, but I'm worried I'll get shoved around a lot. Average wind speed here is 11 mph, but it's usually well over that until sun down.
I tested a 6s battery on my Bumblebee one day and never went back. Squirts are all the same now. Love that opening shot by the way!
Thk U ! for you, what is the best prop for squirt (reaction, softness, autonomy)
It would be nice to make a video about it, today with all the variety not easy for a choice
have you tried the ethix cinerat as a cinewhoop frame? can't decide which one to get
Very interesting, thanks for sharing
Does adding a bigger prop guard affect the performance of a cinewoop?
I use 6S on my cinewhoop basically so that I can use 6S batteries I have for race/freestyle kwads and don't need to get separate 4S batteries. Have you tried 2203.5 motors instead of 1507?
Are there differents in the motors temps?
This build sequence!!!! Omg
Great video mate any chance you can share your 6s rates, please?
I been flying my eachine on 6s and I love it will be changing the motors though for bigger motors, I have another cinequad that def has lesser flight characteristics on 4s than my 6s cine
What was the motor and prop on each quad? And what battery did you use on each quad?
You should check out the fpvcycle cinesplore. I have no issues with diving and im on 4s
Dramatic soldering! 😆👍
Doesn't lower maximum power give more throttle resolution?
Hi Nurk , should i set 24 or 48khz PWM frequency on 6s , thanks for your help...
Off topic but can I use a session 5 for cinematic stuff?
Nurk. Please check out the ZX-RC Cinewhoop frame.
Been on the 6s Cine buzz for a minute fam it’s sooooo much more efficient omg.
The electronics you can get for them now are a lot more robust.
I run my Cinerat on 30a 20x20 6s stack 1507 Karearea Toa Motors and 850-1100mah 6s packs + Full hero and getting maaad 4-5min flight times with plenty of extra power.
Nurk, I really want to have the one of those I think 4S version, i have gopro9 and i have the dji fpv drone already, can i use my goggles and controller on that? How to get the 4s version? Do you sell a ready to fly one? Please...
Love the videos and info brother. Keep it coming. Could you turn the throttle cap down to make 4s motors work with 6s ?
You could.
Motor output limit is the answer
My first cinewhoop was a 6s build. I heard a lot of guys saying they didn't fly that well because of the lack of power. Nooo not the Iflight stack, I've had horrible luck with those... :( ANYWHO all in all awesome video dude!!
Where can I find the PIDS for the 6s build? Just built mine and need a starting point
Very good video 👍
@nurk have you ever tried the FPVCycle Cinesplore with bobs 2204 motors? Curious how it compares to the squirt, looking at building a cinewhoop and the cinesplore has my eye, and the low end control those pancake motors provides seems really useful getting shots. Thoughts?
not yet
@@NURKFPV try 2203 to 2204 motors on cinewhop, it's so much good!
Cool =)
Good work.
Have you tried Bob fpv cycle one?
What is the camera angle on these quads?
noob question, can you use 6s batteries on a cinelog 30? sorry if its really obvious :P
Nice, iv got the 6s build, mamba mini stack, apex toocan 3800kv motors.... Looking for some tuning advice,,,,, It would be carrying gp8.
BTW,, love your work man.. 🔥🔥🍻👊
i have the bumblebee 4S dont see why go 6S, only extra weight, since cinewhoop wont make much sag on the battery
I'm impressed every single day
Thanks man!
What offers more battery life per the same weight all other things being equal - 4S or 6S?
A yes. I wish you could test my design. I have a little improved version cinewhoop and with the fpv cycle 2204 2800KV on 6s it's flying amazing. Really have to test the motors of Bob
Sounds great!
I’m afraid to try to 6s on my fpvcycle 2204s no motor burn out? Do you put a throttle cut on it at all?
@@gre-vo no. I have 5 setups with the 2204 2800kv. No special settings. Works great.
You're the Man Nurk... You're The Man
cheers
Could you please make a 6s Squirt tuning video? Nobody shares all the info.. just bits and pieces. You would be the first. I seen your 2018 tune for betaflight 3.5 video but it's so outdated. Help us out man!!! lol
Please share your 4S Cinewhooop build parts list here. Thank you 🙏
Patch on top and stubbies at bottom work better than stubbies on top ?
Is the only way to get notifications of the next video ideal to be released is to become a paid subscriber ?
Having discovered this channel and a month later to find out MrNurk has traveled all the way to England to do a shoot just ten miles down the road at Corfe Castle from where i was studying at collage at the time still seriously bugs me .
Yours sincerely your fan truly .
btw, great research video, keep them coming :)
The cerveza sickness sneeze got you a like.
Might just be the final check box in the pro colom to switch to 6s, Guess it's time to go for broke lol looks awesome and I'm already flying a cinerat which was meant to be built to 6s not 4 but I send it anyways.
Nice!
You can have a much better dive with a prop guard kinda thing :)
Please I HAVE 400 kv T-motor motors. I want to build small cinewhoop drone what is your advice ? Please help me? Can I build little drone with this motors. I want it to be as small as possible thanks
It's all good and all....but I think nobody is asking the real question here...how much did that coffee weight?
Btw, loved that hyperlapse at the beggining, looked awesome!
I think the cup was like... 7 grams, but I "tare'd" the scale with the cup on there
What flight mode do you flight cinewoops?
Almost certainly acro
what about hot motors? Often i hear 6S motors got hot motor... But i think it's just not well design (like size motor too small for 6S)
6s/ 2004 2100kv with hq 5 blades is the best set up I ever flown on a squirtV2
That thumbnail is my favorite
I do it all for you Jonny boy
I feel like Paul is the kind of guy who will own and fly a quad for years and leave it untuned on stock BF 3.5.7
THE BE$T KIND!
The reverse shot of the columns at the beginning. damn clean 😍. nurk or anyone willing to answer wouldn’t 6s technically be heavier. Heavier battery etc. does the slight bit more power compensate or do you just run a smaller 6s
Have you tried the "race whoop"
newp
BUTTTTT are there any situations a 4s would be better? Would a 4s drone be better for small tight spaces indoors, around people, and flying smoothly through gaps and such?
For fast cinematic footage would you recommend the 5 inch
yes
@@NURKFPV thank you
I also think you will see less end of battery sag on the 6s compared to the 4s
Nurk maybe try switching to lithium ion cells like the Aussie guy you just started following on CZcams..... Might be a game changer for ceinewoops?
My Squirt:
Brotherhobby 1507 3100kv
HQ 8 blade props
Naked GoPro
6s 650mah - over 5 minutes
6s 1100mah - over 7 minutes
What mode do you fly cinewoops?
I think he flies Acro exclusively
"It's been a long time coming that I've wanted to run this experiment for a long time" I think you might've messed up in your description a little bit there haha
Are cinewooops flown in horizon/angle mode only
What mode do you fly cinewoops?
That montage YO!
aw yiss
15:58, I LITERALLY SNEEZED 1 second before i watch this!! HAHAHAHAHA!! IM DYING!!
personally i like 5s batteries on my cvatar with a full size gopro
Dude 6s is the way lol I do wish you could fly my freybott build I run it on 1404’s d63 5 blades and 6 s it’s stupid fast but so controlled at the same time
Do you have a tune for the 4s squirt?
