    I remember that damn wagon. I took extra special care to get it to Seamus in perfect condition. But when Arthur climbed off it, the whole wagon glitched 3 feet into the air before falling to the ground. Stupid wagon.

    😂I always beat his ass after every transaction. I bring a wagon, fence a few things then whoop his ass. His lines crack me up. He'll say stuff like "You betta not even think of putting your hands on me this time" or "You got the best of me last time" and he will sometimes have his hand wrapped up in bandages 😂 One time I hogtied him and took him to Annesburg and just dumped him in the middle of the street and left him there, rode back to Emerald Ranch and he was already back there in his fencing shop 😂

    • @lasagnasux4934
      @lasagnasux4934 Před 2 lety +71

      Because my game is buggy, he'll just randomly have bandages on and tell my not to do that again, but I've never laid a hand on him.
      Same with the trapper. He got hisself killed by wolves because he's either dumb, Canadian, or both; and then when he respawns 8 days later, he gets on my case. "Well see if you can keep your temper this time, eh"

      Coaches usually bring 25 to 40, nice ones always get you 40... wagons are 15 to 20 most of the time, so the wagon with the antiques would normally bring that, so him giving 40 for it is actually fair and reasonable. The small carts only get 10 to 15 (I think) and condition really doesn't matter even though he comments about it.

      I usually get 40. I always thought it was something to do with my honour rating. I tried staying high honour for majority of the game. But sometimes the people of Van Horn just can't keep their mouth shut.
      After a couple of visits I ended up around the low honour side of the middle and that's when I experienced most of my lower payments. But I was trying to speed run my bandit challenges. So I might not of been taking notice of the types of wagons I was bringing back. Used to steal them right in front of him haha, just over the train tracks.

    If you think about it $40 in 1899 would probably be about the equivalent of $800 today given the current inflation rate. If you just stole some random Honda Civic from a grocery store, a chop-shop owner probably wouldn’t give you much more. I really don’t know for sure, I’ve never stolen cars or dealt with chop-shops, but from what I’ve read they don’t pay much. Maybe they do if you’re bringing in a new Porsche or something - which I actually imagine they might not want with today’s tracking systems, but who knows?

He used to just sit outside grocery stores or liquor stores (in CA grocery stores can sell liquor), or sometimes park in a strip mall in between a grocery store and a liquor store. He said pretty much every morning some drunk would drive there at like 8am when they opened, leave their car running so they could just run in and buy booze really fast and come back out and drive off if anyone noticed. The guy I knew would watch for this, have his girlfriend parked in their car and then run and hop in the car just running with the keys in it and drive it right to a chop shop. He probably got paid before the police even started writing an incident report. And then his girlfriend could just drive home, wait for his call, and pick him up so they could go get their meth and eventually have someone call the cops on them for screaming too loud. Fun times 😂. Ironically that was actually a really nice luxury apartment community, it wasn’t a dump in the ghetto. The girl just had wealthy parents who supported her with everything except for her drug addiction (which she dated losers to keep that supported). It was kind of sad, she was still really beautiful because she was only 21 at the time.
