I think this is not dedication, lakhon student applied only few are selected. Chances is 1%. If he develop other skills, learn many work, he can figure out the other sources of earning . He only depends only one field. 10 lakh is not small amount

It's great to have a passion towards any exams but 10 years is not justified for any govt exams, if you are unable to do it in 3 years just change your path towards other similar exams because the time you'll give might not be worth it in the long run of your life. Imagine giving 10 years I means it's about 15% of your lifespan.
