The more I watch Deion Sanders, the more I like him. He seems like a good, honest, moral guy who is a good role model for kids.
He hit the nail on the head! People are attracted to people's gifts not the person.
Deion has obviously been gifted by God in many areas of his life. He is a great role model that young men aspire to be like. Deion is a good witness for our Lord, just take a look at how he always takes the opportunity to thank Jesus for his victories. Glory to God!

He has always been PRIMETIME! He’s just recovered for some health scares and is now coaching so he can help his kids’ careers. He never stepped down from his number 1 job which is being a father.
I can honestly say I was never a Deion fan. After this interview I can now say nothing but great things. Wow!! What an inspirational guy. I wish I was playing for him! At 56 I now my playing days are over. But I can say God Bless the man they call Prime Time!!!!!!!
You may want to Google Deion Sanders. He has won 2 Super Bowl rings and has played professional Baseball. He is the only athlete in history to appear in a Super Bowl and World Series in which he would have won but the strain and pressure of playing both at the same time took a toll. Anyone who knows football knows this man’s name and rightfully so yeah he has been in a position of prominence for almost 20 years. He also use to attend The Potters House in TX. Bishop T.D. Jake’s was his pastor.

I've seen all the Prime persona and I understood it was a means of promoting himself professionally. As he reveals more of his personal life's truths and what he values I begin to appreciate more fully what kind of man he is and the positive things he is trying to do in the world.

Each year I look forward to the NFL's Pro Football Hall of Fame induction speeches. One of the most memorable ones was that of Deion Sanders who gave a heart felt speech about his upbringing and his mother. That's when I realized that there was a lot more to Deion Sanders than the glitz of his youth.

Regardless of whether he actually was joking, or not, does it really matter? If you are a follower of Jesus, would you state things like this about yourself, in general? It’s just another example of pridefully declaring your own goodness, instead of relying upon the goodness of Jesus. Sanders is incredibly talented and entertaining, but look at his words and actions. **sanders is a really nice guy.** He doesn’t seem to be actually reading and trying to submit to what God tells us. One of the best coach my sons ever had was their tennis coach Fungai . Not only he was good at developing them to be great players but mold them into good kids too and coach sander reminded me of him .

That’s the reason I chose the #22 in high school, I was a great high school athlete and was fortunate enough to pick my number, the #22 didn’t represent who I was on the field, it would represent who I was off the field the other 22 hours of the day. It was a reminder to myself that I needed to be the best I could be outside football.
And now he’s Head Coach at Colorado. I watched a game last Saturday and observed how he treated his players on the sideline. He loves those kids and they love him. It was in stark contrast to the moron across across the field who was slapping his players helmets. You lead with love and respect; not by intimidation. Good for Deon Sanders. And his son is on the team.😊👍

I’ve heard Sanders MENTION God or Jesus many times … but nothing related to the saving power of Christ … and never heard Sanders say anything *remotely* close to sharing the Gospel. Do you believe Sanders is promoting what truly following Christ means? Laying down your life ? Denying yourself and taking up your cross? That’s not the message I’m hearing from Sanders. Listen to everything else Sanders says outside of the brief mentions of Jesus. Sanders is a nice worldly guy.

I have a lot of respect for Deon for bringing Jesus name with no shame. Yes, he may come across as too proud, but that might be part of the marketing he was talking about. Deon did not say he is the role model. I do feel bad for his issues with the blood clots that appear to have started after he was misled about the safety of something that was supposed to be for the good of everyone.

I always admired Deion's ability on the field but he became someone to admire when I saw him dump a cooler full of water on a sports announcer that was consistently nasty toward him even on air.
I'm glad to find out he is a good man too. His mama knew what it would take for him to maximize his potential as a good person and I'm glad to see he followed her advice.
