From my understanding, patar ran the mandem and they did somewhat decent, but got complacent. Lost bench + mats, so upto 30m worth of stuff. To a gang who are “bad” but the reality is the gang are just good at shooting.

after Tommy took a break like you said the Gang was ok. but since Tommy made friends and connections to every gang and corporation in the city, the other members figured they didn't need to progress. "The Mandem are cool with everyone" no. Tommy is cool with everyone. like Patar said, The gang took personal relationships as Gang allies. and decided to stop working. stop expanding. they said it's partially bc T is gone. i agree. but if T can get Lang and Solomon to get on board with MDM Enterprises, while being gone most of the time, then the active members can grow too. its not Tommy's fault. Tommy comes back from doing whatever and he's in a new war with people he thought were friends. CG, Angels, there was even BSK. and Cerberus. the gang didnt fall apart. because Tommy T *IS* the Mandem. he built the Block. in the beginning, when Adam and Remy were banned it was just Tommy and sometimes Moses They added Stacey since Dwayne wasnt always able to wake up. and the OG 7 Mandem were GOATED, from content to how they got along. it wasnt until Patar and Dean joined that the gang truly started failing. Dean is selfish. and caused turmoil. and there was losing Lana which changed T. and T changing in turn changed the group. but the new members don't understand how hard it was. that the city is constantly chaging. you cant do the same shit you did 2 years ago. not when ur as big as you are. unless they were consistent. Tommy had to gain notoriety himself in the city. from bank jobs with every gang, to, Corpo Kid, to his list of 50 jobs, and MDMR Racing.... becoming Yokai. Tommy T's influence covered the city. ad that made the entire gang feel sheltered and safe. but they didn't realize until recently that T is the reason they have everything......... well.... HAD* everything. and i don't see Tommy truly trying to get it all back. Maybe salvage the Angels relationship. and Build MDM Enterprises

In a nut shell from my understanding, he got accused of abuse and got canceled
A his ex girl leaked voice messages from him berating her and telling her to unalive, apparently this was a regular thing she got from him, if I remember correctly
