Thanks for your interest; This was an attempt to do extended versions like the work Tom Moulton and others would do when I was a teenager in the 1970s. The remixes on my channel were done between 2005-07 with Singing Machine Karaoke CDs and 2 CDJs + a DJ mixer because that was what I had access to at that time. There was no editing, just several takes with the best one or two surviving. I extended 55-60 songs this way. I kept them to 4-5 minutes to cut down on listener fatigue lol. Thanks again

The MIRACLES were all ONE GROUP... and SMOKEY was a member of The Miracles, TOO. Thus, BOBBY RONNIE, PETE, and CLAUDETTE were not just "backup singers" for SMOKEY. ALL of the Miracles received EQUAL PAY for records and personal appearances .SMOKEY got NO MORE or LESS than the OTHER MEMBERS. PLUS: the group's original name was simply "THE MIRACLES"...with NOBODY'S NAME UPFRONT .

These copycats and their supposed "cover versions" . Call them what they are.....ripoffs!! If they were so good , they'd write their own songs , instead of ripping off someone elses...just because Kim Carnes' version may have charted higher, doesn't mean it was better . THE MIRACLES wrote their OWN SONGS...and they SIMPLY CAN'T BE TOPPED ON THIS ONE !!!

My wife and I just celebrated our 45th anniversary and this was always my song for her. We're older now and I have no fear.
