Mei SSC JE ki taiyari kar raha hu. Ab mei 2nd year 2nd sem mei hu aur 1 month ke baad 3rd year mei jaunga diploma ke.
Mujhe agar exam dena hei to wo 1 Jan 2023 ko hoga, mujhe usse koi prblm nai hei
But agar mei degree ke 2nd year mei raha ( as DSY ) aur mera agar selection hogaya to mere liye Degree continue karna sahi rahega ya Job ?
Job written hone se le k final joining tk 1.5 se 2 yrs ho jata,

Hello sir, you are doing great job , please clarify one thing , for mechanical engineers , which department is better , CPWD or MES , are the promotion and transfer policy same ( i.e after every 3 years )
Depts dono hi ache h..cpwd me public exposure h. Mes me MILITARY exposure h.
Challenging works and environment apko mes me milega.
Central k h to dono dept me all India posting h.
Mechanical se ho to I suggest MES is good because E/M sides milnge krno ko.
Promotion ab mes me bhi streamlines ho gya h. Kuch saal phle ruka tha. Ab sb line up h. Cpwd too have the same promotion sequence approximately in 8-12 yrs for general people..
Transfer yes it is 3 yrs in a office in mes and max of 6 yrs in a station.
Central govt most of dept have same transfer policy for civilian ie 3 yrs.

Look firstly being a civil engineering student you got very broad scope of work and space, decide whether to go for job or business, secondly mes cpwd working are same, ssc je is a mode to join as je
ESE exam is there for grp A posts,
Just start the preparation for ssc je with technical portion parallel do that general studies and reasoning, newspaper monthly magzine will help you out for current affairs, books are there i have prepare the video for that just go through it,

There is no exact requirement of 6/6 .in MES
you have to clear the medical at your near by govt hospital. There is no more futhur medical tests after joining dept.

If office exists then you can get the posting, but many of the dept has transferable procedures after 3 to 4 yrs

6 days..Wednesday and Saturday half day .but je em depends on if no emergency or breakdown occurs.
