I recently got into these games and they are so fun. Im currently on my Ys9 nightmare run for the plat. But my god I have to play on mute because between the harsh music and the constant squad chat during fights, I know its part of the genre but its actually unbearable to listen to.

You can lower voice volume and/or music to 0 without muting the whole game in sound settings, just as an FYI
