1st time viewer here, but I feel I must say something. You two are about the nicest young people I have ever seen. Polite and hard working and well spoken. I don't know where you are from but if I was there I would shake your parents hands and thank them for raising you up so well. Final note, any woman who can weld like that is a keeper in my book. Give her anything she wants son.
The suspension only moves a couple of inches, Why not mount your rear end mounts facing to the rear of the axle and run the control arms beyond the axle. The geometry still works exactly the same. I love this build.
You definitely have some good ideas Corey, I’m a retired welder of 40 years experience in a fabrication shop/ machine shop! Plus years running a rig truck out of field jobs too! I’m glad to see you teaching Hannah and WOW she’s doing great brother! Just says you’re a good teacher and she wants to learn! Go Hannah, good job Corey! I’m enjoying your channel and the Viking is what caught my eye Hannah and Corey, I love the truck even though I’m not much on lowered trucks! I’m the opposite my friend, I rather have a truck raised but what am I saying? I’m retired and 62, I loved to do this when I was younger! Now I enjoy watching you guys create your dreams! 👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
a real life stream! Being a retired metal fabricator, its so much fun listening to you both discuss the plan as you're moving along. Reminds me of the shop where I worked. Become proficient is Tig welding. You'll never look back! looking forward to your next video!
Just ran across your channel and find it pretty impressive. Just a few minutes in and thinking you can save yourselves a lotta work with your rear suspension. Instead of cutting up your link bars to gain floor space in the driver’s compartment just modify your design to the rear 4 link brackets. If you angle the top two bars toward the center of the car you’ll end up with a triangulated 4 link. Triangulated 4 links have been around for years. First ones I can think of are used in 64 Chevelles. The basic theory and design eliminates the diagonal link bar used on a four link and distributes torsional force between all the links more evenly. Anyway keeping the original link bars but using the top links at a 30 to 45 degree angle. That type of link setup like mentioned earlier only uses 4 bars total transfer torque and center the rear end, I know from experience that these systems run down the road a lot more quiet than a drag race 4 link with helm joints to rattle and wobble around with slack and wear getting worse constantly. Anyway, you all are doing a great job, keep it up. Definitely subscribing after this.
That little mouse trap is coming along quite nicely. You guys work so well together. I’ve got to tell you Hannah, your welding skills are pretty darn impressive. You can tell Cory is pretty proud of you too.
Ive been watching you two for a couple weeks now and I gotta I love how fun you guys have. It is very enjoyable too watch and yall have become my fav. Channel. Thank you
When I was in my early 20s, I was married and had 2 kids so I stopped into Kentucky chicken and got a bucket of chicken and mashed potatoes, I was brought up on a chicken farm, thousands of chicken, I take ot apiece of chicken and take a bite, not sure what is was but it sure wasn't chicken, I have never stepped into a Kentucky chicken since, I'm 76 now.
Keep up the great work. You two are making Wednesdays my favorite day of the week. The Mouse Trap is looking really good and thank you for sharing the build with us.
Hey brother , I’m partial to smell good stuff too! I’ve worked in too many stink tanks, barge tanks burning on that old lead paint with no OSHA to be able to complain to about unsafe conditions! That’s another reason why I’m living on disability and I have ringing ears because we didn’t have ear protection, y’all don’t want ringing ears so please wear your safety gear my friends! Thanks for sharing Hannah and Corey, kirk from Lake Charles Louisiana! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻🤙🏻 Always sending prayers to y’all and your families! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey Hannah and Corey, Steve here in TN. You two are a hoot! The wife and I just love your videos. I just wanted to suggest a few things, for what it's worth. I am 75 years old and have been working on vehicles since the 5th grade. I am also a retired Ironworker. So.. I have had a lot of experience in the stuff ya'll are doing in the videos. PLEASE take the proper steps to keep yourselves safe! Grinders are dangerous in several ways. I have had to go have metal particles removed from my eye several times. And they use a small "grinder" to get it out! Not fun. Also a friend of mine was using a grinder with a cutoff discount inside a truck cab. It kicked back and got away from him (he must have had the trigger locked) and it took 140 stitches to sew him up! Anyway, ya'll are great, just want you to be safe. Keep up the great videos.
21:30 I've seen these seats before in vehicles at car shows. To me they look extremely uncomfortable. I don't think I could sit for more than a couple of miles and I'd be dying.
Terrific as usual. What a welder you are Hannah, loving the project. Looking forward to next weeks away day...Cheers guys from the UK. I would love a little red hart😉
God first !!!! Hannah and Cory, that is the best statement I have ever heard on CZcams!!!! I thank God I found you all's channel!!! Be careful and God bless !!! Eddy
Hey there u2 . As always looking more and more like a fun ride when youre done. Quick question/idea for you. Have you ever considered using old hockey pucks for body busings when mounting body to frame? Theyre fairly cheap, like $1-2 each and you would find them at used sporting goods store like play it again sports. Theyre poly urethane with a plastic disc top and bottom and easily drilled in a sm drill press. I used them on a 4x4 van conversion on my 79 GMC van. Did it like 10 yrs ago and every time i see the new owner of it he says they still holding strong and look like they did when I installed them. Well look forward to the next video see you then.
Really enjoy watching the trips to the junkyard as you scour for those ever elusive parts Hannah is probably smart for not going didn't realize how well she can weld and from what I see she's not half bad and pretty too be careful and stay safe my friends God love ya both
I love your content, you called out that guy about giving you a bug to build a semi, I'm calling you out on giving me the bug to build a rat rod truck-ish!
Enjoying your content. Y'all are doing a great job. You two make a great pair. We have several things in common love for ole cars, love for God( you can tell you guys are Christians) . Me and Cory both love our Wife's 👍
Awesome morning brother and little sister another awesome adventure with yall !!!! The mouse trap is looking great !!! I really enjoy the videos !!! Cory is getting more safety conscious lol !!!! The ending is always great to be a part of lol !!! Yall are awesome as always !!! Pray yall have an awesome day stay warm and have an awesome night
It's starting to take shape and looking good and you two look like you guys work good together and thank you for sure and good luck and be safe and God bless you guys
Y'all should make a little panel truck... Weld up those back side windows. It keeps your stuff out of sight. Good video, looking forward to seeing what you'll do for a hood..
Your pucks look a little bit just like a hockey puck (or Arkansas lift kit). Also, I am 6'5" 375lbs. And never have enough leg room..lol I just found yall last week and love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Cory, are you saying that Hannah may need a booster seat??? Safety first! Remember to Always follow Ms. Hannah’s instructions and you will be happy. Lol. Just playing guys. We love your channel. Forwarding you to my friends. The build is cool. Wheel adapters look fine. Y’all remind us of our drag racing days in the sixties. Best wishes.
Dude cut the control arms (eyelets) and or beams or both and make them do what you want them to do. A little more work but custom fit and already paid for . Very good.
I've had several cuttin discs come apart on me but it didn't match the rubber 3" disc on my air grinder coming apart and hitting me in the chest. I thought I was shot. I've had that happen twice and both times sucked bad.
Hanna, your going to have to teach Corey how to do French braids to keep your braids from catching on fire! Corey, have you ever seen the wire wheels on a old packard car? They are heavy duty and they would probably hold up the 12valve! Turning rust (restored) CZcams channel has short buses and they just picked up a old box van the other day!
Awesome again. Please consider a roll cage for safety. It would look wicked outside ( then use it for luggage rack or something goofy looking. Hurry back. Jeff
Hello this is your next-door neighbor in Ohio I like the built you are making them tires are awesome and also you are very young and beautiful woman and he is lucky any LOL
I've got a 3 inch scar on my chest from were a death wheel exploded. When I'm doing any welding I usually wear two pair of brown jersey gloves or some Tillman tig welding gloves .They seem to give me a better feel of what I'm welding.

Don't you use a cutting oil when you're drilling largeish diameter holes in thick steel? great video as usual guys! Greetings from Dover in the UK!!
I've had several cuttin discs come apart on me but it didn't match the rubber 3" disc on my air grinder coming apart and hitting me in the chest. I thought I was shot. I've had that happen twice and both times sucked bad.

Could've put that axle bracket on the back side of the axle tube instead. Also, pretty sure those are lower control arms, uppers should be shorter.
You two need to put out T,s with ' whats up with that '
Good work!!!
