I mis- stated what breakout force is. It is force of the curl of the bucket to break free dirt. So it is more to do with tilt than lift.
I give alot of credit to the TYM representative that chose that tractor for you, the diesel engine with out the need for Def fluid, a decent HP rating, the 3rd function on the hydraulics, the cab, the clutch system and over all tire size and stability of tractor. There is nothing worse than trying to doing anything with a garden tractor size compact.
It's work horse.
Great review.
Was so happy when you got sponsored and this tractor showed up on the farm. Marketing department’s of other companies need to step up and support this hard working couple.
I will probably never have the money or the need to own a tractor, but you've definetly sold me on the TYM. They made a good choice in hooking you up, you've really demonstrated the abilitties of this powerful machine with all your work and projects.
Wow! Great review. TYM should feel they got their money’s worth.
That my Man you explain so well. thank you very much. Have a good day 🤝
Great review by an actual user.
If TYM watches your review they should be impressed.
If John Deere watches they will be jealous.
Great job on the review of the tractor Evan, you have done a lot of work around there with the tractor and it has done well for you folks. Thanks for sharing, Fred.
Very nice interdiction to the TYM tractor! Always love watching!
Wow, what a Great review Evan you really hit it out of the park. Don’t be surprised if you get some calls wanting you do be a salesman😉. TYM should be very pleased with the detail given in your review. Well done
Excellent review Evan. TYM is getting good value for its arrangement with you.
I remember commenting on old tractors are cool but modern tractors are nice. Modern features reduce so much time and effort to getting the job done. Getting more done in less time equals more family time, money saved and earned, less sore and tired days.
I've been watching ... This TYM has definitely been a major blessing to you. I'd say this cooperative give has been a great thing for both you AND the company!
Very good professional review
Great review Evan, I knew from the start that the whole idea of TYM delivering the unit to you, telling you to use on your youtube homestead, they were going to tell prospective customers, instead of coming to their dealership to watch a demo of picking up gravel or buckets of dirt, Watch Country View Acres, or Lumnah Acres to see these tractors at work in real time demonstrate their many functions was a great marketing ploy and as Confucius
said, "a picture is worth a thousand words", ultimately gives TYM a lot of bang for their buck
in terms of advertising dollars!
Always a great show, informative for even people like me, so keep up the great content.
Thanks for sharing your review of this TYM tractor. I am tickled that it worked so well and saved a lot of back breaking work for you. It also was a time saver which was a big help also considering you have a full time job and basically a second full time job building up the infrastructure of your homestead. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Outstanding review of the TYM tractor! I wouldn't hesitate to test drive and buy one based on watching you use it this past year and how you've evaluated it in this video. Great job. Thanks
TYM makes a good looking and very nice tractor, a lot of good features and options . If I was in the market for a tractor I would look at the TYM!
Great video Evan, thanks for this one. I've been interested in these TYM's since my son looked at them a couple of years ago. You gave me a better understanding of the specifics on the fuel system, the loader, the leveling mechanics and so on. Thanks again for this one, I know it was a year or more ago, but it helps me understand that model more. Have a great day!
Great video, everything explained well and stated very clear. Makes me want to buy one, thank you TYM.
Great review Evan, I'm no farmer or tractor user but I did understand your review and your explanation was awesome, love and blessings from Scotland :) :)
Excellent review of the tractor. It was thorough and comprehensive. TYM should be pleased. Other channels don’t come close to your evaluation.
Running 3'x4' square baler with my tym-65. Got it around the same time as you got yours, 455 hours on it. The new shifter works great. Nice videos.
Very nice review. Lots of info a perspective buyer wouldn’t know by driving by, or looking at.
*I really like this model, thanks for the review.*
That manure bucket comes in handy. Cleaning out the barns with the TYM bucket is a real must have. Off loading heavy deliveries really helped also. For all the things the TYM saved back breaking labor, the TYM Tractor is the farmer's best friend
That was a great, thorough review.
Thanks for your detailed, honest assessment of this tractor.
Thanks Evan that sounded like a pretty in-depth and honest review on the TYM tractor. I had never heard of them, but your review was impressive. You covered it well with the exception of price and I'm sure you're not about to dive into that - don't blame you. So, my only other concerns would be about getting it repaired and of course getting parts for it further down the road. But I was also surprised with the 65 hp in that size tractor. That's pretty awesome itself! Thanks for the review.
Rear ballasts and cup holder are not really issues and can be easily remedied. Anything that can help you do your work easily and efficiently is perfect. I've seen you use that tractor in your several blogs and frankly, I"m impressed. That tractor is a keeper.
Great video on the review of the TYM tractor
Good review. Seems like a really good tractor.
Great review thanx Evan , will be interesting to see how it handles your new haying equipment
That's one hell of a review, very enjoyable.
Good evening, you did a wonderful interview
Excellent review - TYM should be very happy.
Great video thanks of all the good info
great description of the economy pto setting and how you can use 750 but scale the rpms of the tractor back so the end result is 540 at the PTO. First time I have seen one like that and I understood your explanation perfectly. I like it. It would be very helpful on an old sickle mower or 3 pt hitch fertilizer spreader or something that didn't take a lot of HP to run.
Shuttle shift I'm used to. Looks like a nice tractor.
Good job. It’s a hard worker. Went to right place
Wow! Hard to believe it has been a year, great review I think this is the tractor that I would like to have
As always you've shared some very helpful information. I have to be honest I didn't know anything about this brand and was shocked when you announced you were going to give it a try. Should've known you did your research on the front end and now that you've run it through the gambit and shared your results people like myself are ready to give them a try. Really enjoy your work
Yeah,,,,that an' a FREE TRACTOR don't hurt....
@@theburnhams2925 Jealous Much Burnham?
Great Video & Partnership for TYM - I want to buy one & don't even need a Tractor for anything
Very informative, thank you.
Evan I have the same tractor and I absolutely love mine
Keep up the good work love watching CZcams ty for you show
Great tractor you have really put it through the paces,I wouldn’t mind owning one of those machines.
Great review Evan
Good info on the TYM tractor!
Great overview of that TYM tractor. And great job by the TYM dealer picking that model out for you. I’ll need a bit bigger tractor, in the 100hp range, hopefully they’ll let you do a review of that one too. Or they can hit me up and I’ll start doing videos and overviews of their 100hp model. Some great components such as the German diesel engine, South Korean components and assembly in the USA! TYM vs New Holland! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Hi Evin, that has been an awesome tracror
I appreciate your honest review on the TYM tractor. Overall, seems like a pretty good compact tractor. My main concerns are the dealership & their service department. Take care.
Man, you did a great job here, you make a great salesman !
All free tractors / equipment are nice .
Great review!👍🏻
Looks like you have found your perfect tractor. Two minor complaints are not a bad thing. The rear weight you can fix. The cup holder, I would bet you could make a cup holder that holds larger cups and fits the holder there. You are great at things like that.
They make cup expander to fit larger cup
That's a fine tractor, and has been a great asset to your farm. I really like it, although I don't need one, I kinda want one. LOL
Enjoyed the review looks a good machine.
Nice, I'll check it out.
I'd buy one if I had a small farm...thanks Evan
Seems like a very nice tractor .
very nice tractor indeed!
Nice tractor I like it!
It does appear to be a really good tractor. Lots of really good features. I would definitely trade my 165 Massey Ferguson for it .l have rebuild most of it in the last 25 years..
Great review. I got the TYM 654, but I chose the manual shuttle shift. Almost the same, but does require/allow for use of a foot clutch. Very forgiving. Just so you are aware that this model comes in both configuration. I have about 42 hours on mine so far, and I Love it. I’ll be watching your 50 hour service video again soon!!! Thanks again! Great channel
The cab version only comes with power shuttle. The open station can be either power or manual shuttle. At least that what I was told when TYM sent it to me.
No sir. That’s not correct. Like I said…I bought the 2021 model and it’s exactly as yours, except not the power shuttle. That would have been an upgrade option.
I sent a FB message
you are highly credible. enjoy all your vids
Great Video...
Looking into buying one now because of your endorsement.
Awesome tractors
You can buy a cup holder that goes in a small well that extended to hold a very large cup that is inexpensive.
Nice review Evan. I think the loader is pretty decent. Lifting 2000 plus pallets of feed is a requirement that everybody with chickens or pigs needs. The self leveling helps with pallets a lot. All of the extra hydraulic hookups are pretty fantastic as well. No Def at that horsepower is amazing. I had no idea that was possible. Finding a dealer close to me is a showstopper though. The closest dealer is 1.5 hours away as opposed to Half hour for John Deere.
I have a dealer a half hour a away, but luckly I have never needed them for anything.
Evan for ballast for your tires get them filled with beet juice , will not rust the rims
Evan if you plan on loading the rears I would definitely widen them first.
Thanks for that straightforward review. I am saving up to buy a cabbed tractor this winter hopefully. TYM is a brand I will consider. But the nearest dealer is like 4 hours away. I have two Kubota dealers within 20 minutes. I've dropped many hard earned Cleveland's at both. Not impressed with either one.
Great review the TYM has a lot of nice features! Definitely recommend Rim guard aka BEET JUICE for a ballast 11 lbs per gallon water soluble, biodegradable. You will get about 700 lbs per tire. I also widened mine about 2.5” on each side these two modifications made a world of difference on my JD 5075E.
I just priced rim yesterday. 50 gallons per tire. It will add over 500 pounds in each tire. $3.50 a gallon. $175 per tire.
@@CountryViewAcres good deal it will make a big difference, much safer. I wish my JD had some of the features your TYM has!
I read that like you already had it done. If you do it will make a big difference. Lol. My first tractor I did it myself using a pto pump it wasn’t all that hard but the newest tractor I had a local tire shop do it. They make a hose adapter with a bleeder valve. Could make for a good video. Would make a good video either way.
Very nice tractor! I actually run tubes in my rear tires. I had put the very corrosive liquid in and it kept it from eating the rims. But it did eat the valve stem out. When I went to repair it they had stated they now have a less corrosive option. Which I did it the same way. Having older equipment it helps to prolong the life of the rim. I have not had any severe rusting since I have added this type of ballast. Rear tire chains add a lot of weight also. just expensive to replace cross links. Which help in the mud also. I am sure they have a good way to hold the chains on now. I use to run them all the time logging. I have broken a few cross links. Found you have to buy a barrel full. Kinda wish I would have. It would have lasted for years. If you were to row crop is that tractor set up for 30 inch rows from the factory? The three point adjustments are really thought out well on that tractor. Would a tiller work well on there? Some times it nice to check the slow end of the machine also. I seem to be finding uses for this lately also. Since my tractor now playing a part in my gardening. It is nice to have a well rounded tractor. I do see now why some tractors are bought for certain jobs. The tractor you have has checked off a lot of my box requirements. No DEF is a big thing. It really fits your farm requirements at this time. The question is would you go bigger or one size smaller. I would bet larger. That would be due to tillage issues. Still thing it would be a good all around tractor to match what you do or could do in the future. Sad thing is tractors cultivate other tractors lol. Seems you always can use a backup or job specific tractor. Thanks for the review. They seem well thought out. Thought highly of them since first seeing them. Hope you have a great weekend!
They have a non corrosive ballast cald RIM GUARD that is what you should use. It is a beet by product, is non harmful to animals the ground or people .It is very heavy per gallon and does not eat your rims up .It is the best ballast on the market!
Nice tractor
That is a good tractor!!
TYM builds the best tractor for the dollar I’ve seen and I’ve been around the AG industry for 43yrs. They often use Kukje engines and they are phenomenal power plants and one of few that I’d choose over anything else in their class.!
I just hope this merger/consolidation of TYM and Kukje doesn’t hinder their great build quality! Kukje has made engines for Deere and Cummins! TYM offers 4 models (4&5 series) that I’m aware of with Kukje engines that still have a mechanical Bosch injection pump with a completely separate dpf/regen system, ie Engines will run regardless. So hopefully any of you old school gear heads like myself can read between the lines here! DPF 👋
Hi Evan, I don't comment much on anyones videos but I will give you my take. I think if it were me, I would ask my Father what he honestly thought of the tractor. Then, go after the best to suit your needs.
The old 723 was by far a better tractor. I had a 754 and two 723’s, two 603 and one 503. TYM’S problem was and is dealer reliability. The old 723 had the Perkins engine. Never had a problem with the Deutz but the front end on the 754 is weak. I put 650 to 750 hours in less than a year on the 754 and 723’s. I also had a 1004. They all pulled well. My favorite was the 503. Best quality of all of them and they were all cab tractors.
Back in the 60's we had a Minneapolis Moline tractor around 70 hp and we pulled a 16 ark valley one way plow with it and it was only 2wd. I would bet that TYM T654 will surprise you even more. I think Cummins might have something to do with the Kuekje engine.
I think I could pull a bigger disc, but I would have to adjust the lift cylinder so it didn't go full depth.
My biggest question would be service and part availability. For this make and location of dealer ship This machine is great all around piece of equipment to have base on you review. I would have to put it on my list when time call for one
Hi this is Lucky Edmonds in Candler NC , go to Cobb River Design has a cup- holder got it of Larson Farms on you tube hope all good thank you all for the show
Evan, I enjoyed the review, and it seems this tractor is a good fit for your operation. My one question is, how difficult is it to remove/ reinstall the loader. I think there would be lots of time that I would not want all that weight on my front end. Not to mention the extra length of the tractor with the loader on.
You can use the grapple to move and load hay. You don't need hay forks.
You can addwheel weight to the rear wheels.
Good video
I have a Mahindra 2638 made by TYM. Bought about a month ago. Happy with it so far.
That's why we call it a "dummy light".
I aint judging, I've done it on cars, trucks AND equipment. Don't feel too bad.
Correct Me if I am wrong. But I think "Break out force" is the Curl function of the Loader not the Lift Cylinders.
My DK4510 H-Shuttle, I can still use the Clutch for those times needed for fine control of movement.
Thanks Evan..
Mike M.
You may be correct. I may have a misunderstanding of breakout force. I will have to Google it.
Yes you are correct. Thanks for letting me know. I will pin a comment, correcting my statement.
Good review. How has fuel consumption been while working it in the field ? You know these days that is a big factor.
Just bought 2 T754 with cab still working on the trade in value. trading my two Masseys
Its basicly a normal tractor without to much fancy stuff🤩 good tractor🤩 the less electronics fancy stuff the less cost of things that can go wrong and need fixing.
And i want u check out hydraulic top link for ur tractor! Makes ur life so much easier when u use machines on the back of ur tractor. Its tottaly worth it. And here in norway we use a triangle quick hitche on all machines. So tractor those all the job. No man power at all
czcams.com/video/KwdDARKdPTk/video.html
Here u have a link to the triangle hitche that we use if u interested
Very good, informative video, how does the MSRP compare to other colors?
Good video good content 👌
Good review and nice of definitely👍e is a dealer near you.
You need rear wheel weights for your new instead of the balest box
If you have an extra set of hydraulics, then investing in a hydraulic top link would be a good idea. Especially when you are using your sickle-mower amongst other implements.
With Evans frustration with the sickle mower I'd say the haybine he's purchased will be getting used instead.
It has 2 sets of remotes standard. 3rd is an option
