you're right. the Sovereign, i used in the video is a little bit more powerful than the stock sovereign class, used in BC. But it's more like in the movies this way. Especially in a battle against a BORG cube, i need the weapons, otherwise it would be a looong fight, which i would have lost probably
It's because of the firing arcs in the game when it comes to rear weapons. You don't really have to worry about the hit you will take unless your rear shields are low or down, as you just let your rear weapons fire then rotate while they are cycling to allow your other weapons to fire.
Borg vessels in these games are almost always hilariously undergunned. They can soak up some fire but they hardly ever kill ships, which isn't what you'd expect from a vessel that probably outmasses all of Starfleet.
Now that is a nice feature to have. The ones I played were never as forgiving. The second you showed the enemy your six for more than 10 seconds you were as good as dead, if not severely crippled. This does look fun though. Thank you for answering my question!

Montero Ronald the Borg isn't that hard to beat. You just have to fight longer range and keep distance. You cannot win up close with a single ship, but if you attack and retreat you can.
