To check if you like the sound just take a thick wet towel and cover it and try to hear the sound if you see the change and like it then install it

Older D390 was with Closed carterid shocks which are better but more sufesticated to tune and live with. Newer D390 is with open cartridge which is more practical.
Try Mantra racing Stage 2 ECU flash plus Mantra Custom Air filter.. total cost 15,000. Power output increase to Fucking 55Bhp... Top speed goes beyond 185kmph. Plus No modification to engine hardware. Only air filter is changed and ECU remap.
wrong. old duke is always hunting for more gear under traffic condition, that is why it is so rough. you can't win with a new d390 with this one. but winning is not everything. so in my opinion, if you love raw, then go for it(used) otherwise in all respect, new one is better.
Is new 390 seat is comfortable enough for touring and what about vibration at 120 kph in new 390. Old 390 seat is so hard that I can barely sit on it for more than an hour and if road condition is bad it is still less. The vibration at 120+ kph is very disturbing, I could not maintain it, but at 100-110 kph it is very manageable. Is new duke 390 good in busy street (heating issues, hard clutch etc.)? But one thing, brakes are superb in old 390.
