Honestly, Black Ops Cold War Story Mode was absolutely amazing. I loved it so much. Especially because I really really loved the melee takedowns that you could do. You no longer just hit enemies with the butt of your gun anymore. You actually do these cool takedowns. Like stabbing a dude in the neck before shooting him in the head and then sliding his head and neck off of your blade
Ok, my personal head canon is whoever was supposed to write up a dossier for Bell procrastinated that day, and Adler and the rest just had to work with it. *edited* I’m also imagining that in this specific version, the fact that the dossier didn’t take contributed to Bell’s betrayal. Black ops 1 was amazing, I really enjoyed the black ops 2, with mixed timelines. And the plot was amazing how it started fight with father and carries on to David. This was okay to me. The campaign needs to be at least 6 hours long.
While the campaign was very short the different options can change it up a bit and it was a really fun campaign to go through and I think it has a bit more replayability than other campaigns.

Well you can read it either way because if you shose the male or female options they say him or her so I think it's pretty easy to assume that they were talking aboit bell in particular.
This campaign is way better than what i expected. It has the mystery brain-washy plot of Black Ops 1 and the multiple route ending of Black Ops 2. Overall it's replayable value is insane compare to any previous cod campaign. You know, for a sucker for campaign mode like me this is pretty much worth the full price of the game.

@@peachout6227 this was actually my first call of duty, and I only really got it for zombies and multiplayer, but a while ago I decided to try out the campaign, and it happens to come just in second place to Titanfall 2’s campaign. Having never played a CoD campaign, this was an awesome introduction to the series for me and I am sure I will buy the new ones when they come out. Only thing that I’m annoyed about are the crashes on Xbox, but I can’t really complain much since Treyarch might be working on a fix for it. I just wish that there was a Chernobyl map, the timeline fits perfectly for there to be a zombies + multiplayer map in Chernobyl.

FWIW I think the ability to pick gender and skin tone is one of the best features they've had in a while. Call Of Duty player characters more often than not don't speak anyway, so the loss of a voice isn't really that big of a deal. Sure my choice might not be the most realistic for a game set during the Cold War, but the game is a power fantasy, not an accurate retelling. It just adds that personal touch to the character, makes it a lot easier to identify with them.
I know this is a two year old comment but I feel the same it lets you play around a bit with the character makes playing them a little more fun instead of someone like a faceless soldier in multiplayer
