I don't know how you got that read. He's advocating for a ceasefire and for Israel to not invade Rafah. Unfortunately, the only way to defeat Hamas is to go into Rafah.

Greece could do more..for Palestine! I am a Greek disappointed in my government.. but we are not like Germans or other Europeans.. I actually wish that Greece would make a coalition with countries like Ireland, Venezuela, Lebanon, and others that struggle for democracy and humanity! The Greek PM was one of the first to condemn Hamas and he recently criticized Iran. Shame! Nobody asked him! As for our neighbours and our economy..well, both are a challenge.. i wish we could get out of both nato and austerity..

He is repeatedly saying that Greece needs to defend itself... 21:26 "given the facts that there is an army surrounding us from various neighbourhoods..." - the neighbourhoods are Turkey, Albania, Macedonia and Bulgaria. The only one that has a military capability to attack Greece is Turkey, but they are members of NATO. It is a fallacious argument for trying to justify to domestic audience the current Greek government's overspending on "defence".
Military expenditures can be justified through the principle of deterrence as well.
Actually, Palestinians are defending their territorial integrity, and they were victims of state and settler violence. A tiny little bit of double standard there.
