Awww haha thank you so much Dionisia, I am still a bit wiggly with the rigger line but thank you for the lovely comment! And yes the mop is so good and versatile! 😍
OMG! Why do I watch videos like this? I have a million brushes hahaha But here I am looking online for escoda here in Chiang Mai (Thailand) . sigh I have 4 escodas and love them all, but not the mop and/or the rigger. Here we go. Ah have you tried Zytang brushes? they are amazing and very cost effective. I love all mine but have a love for the V11 and the V18s . They are perfect!
Haha I feel you, I also have a brush addiction 😅 I have tried Zytang brushes and also found the v18s to be great quality for their price! I haven't tried the v11s though!
Great video! I never tried how long a line my Daler Rowney rigger makes since I use it for grass and fur. I was impressed that it makes 80 cm before the dry brush effect which is wonderful for an affordable brush like this.
The most important difference from a squirrel bristle brush is that the bristles will hold up under the stresses of painting. unlike synthetic brushes that will return straight when the pressure is released.
Ohh Woww..I expected that from the mop brush but the round and rigger one ,I am surprised...even I don't own a rigger brush but looking at this experiment of yours I am very surprised 🙈
Such a great video! Your editing is so fantastic! If you don't mind me asking do you edit your own videos or do you outsource? I've just discovered your channel and its absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the great content! Also regarding brushes: it would be a cool video to see you compare the Princeton watercolors brushes...I think Princeton has a few different watercolor brushes: Neptune, heritage, Select....possibly more...So yea a Princeton watercolor brush comparison would be an awesome video...Anyway, thanks for sharing, great video and much love!💜
Aww thank you so much for the kind words Nadeane! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊 Yes I film and edit all my videos myself, I use an editing app called Inshot :) Thank you for suggesting a video on Princeton, I do have the Princeton neptune but haven't tried the heritage and aqua elite lines, I will try to source them :) Thanks again for the kind words of support Nadeane!
Ah really? Wow thank you for sharing this information, this was my first rigger brush so wasn't sure if most riggers usually hold this much or whether it was just this one! Haha thank you for letting me know! :)
I haven't tried the Reserva yet so I'm unable to compare the two. Reserva is natural kolinsky though and Ultimo is synthetic squirrel so they would be quite different
Hope you enjoyed this little experiment! Were you surprised by the results? ;)
The mop brush is so tempting!! 😍😍 I’m impressed both with the brush and your steady hand when doing the lines with that rigger brush! 👏🏼
Awww haha thank you so much Dionisia, I am still a bit wiggly with the rigger line but thank you for the lovely comment! And yes the mop is so good and versatile! 😍

Aww thank you so much Nina! How awesome to hear that it inspired you to test yours too! 🤗❤ that is a great effort for an affordable brush!
awesome video Wendy.. the mop brush looks so good, I feel like I could do better background wash with that brush..Thanks for making this video
Aww thank you so much Iyut! Yes that mop can really cover so much.. it used up a lot of paper to test it hahaha 🤣

Haha yes I was completely surprised by that little thin rigger! 😮

My portraits are mostly wet on wet. I also do a lot of outlines. Thirsty brushes like those ultimos are really tempting 🥺🥺🥺 hahahaha
Oh that's so interesting to know your portraits are mainly wet on wet! Hahaha yes these are definitely thirsty brushes 😃👌
Great video & Awasome brushes.
Aww thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Do you have a favourite brush out of the 3? 🤗
@@WendyPaintsAll the brushes are great, but the mop brush I like most, because I love to paint big washes, so that's why mop brush is my favourite.
@@BiswajitsARTOfficial That one is my fav too! It's so versatile as well, managed to achieve both large washes and small detail with just that brush!
@@WendyPaints totally agreed
I've been looking to get a rigger brush from escoda but I was debating between the prado and versatile, I think I will get the Ultimo in a size 2.
I'm glad to hear this video helped you decide! The Ultimo is a synthetic squirrel so it holds more water compared to the Prado and Versatil 😊
The rigger is insane, usually a regular rigger will get you 1/6th the result you achieved
Ah really? Wow thank you for sharing this information, this was my first rigger brush so wasn't sure if most riggers usually hold this much or whether it was just this one! Haha thank you for letting me know! :)
How do they compare to the Reserva?
