- Congratulations to Harnaaz Sandhu from India for being crowned Miss Universe 2021! As well as Nadia Fereirra from Paraguay who ended as 1st Runner-Up and Lalela Mswane from South Africa who ended as 2nd Runner-Up!
Special congratulations to all of the rest of the top 5, top 10 and top 16 candidates of Miss Universe 2021!
The show was amazing and definitely did not disappoint.
I am so glad that Steve Harvey was back for this edition! It JUST wasn't the same without him last year!
Here's hoping that Israel will become a more politically stable country in the future. ❤ And thank goodness nothing happened while the girls were there.

Being an Indian , it was such a proud moment for us , Indians in general are not that much into these type of beauty pageants , they get to know their representatives only when they win , but still the women in India take the challenge and the journey . Harnaaz this time was a perfect respresentative of our nation and personally I know why she said that - " I believed in myself and that's why am here today ." Nevertheless , Miss Puerto Rico should have been there in the top three ! And everyone agrees that South Africa was so strong . All I can say is I loved all these amazing ladies from different corners of the world who made this year's MU more than a mere competition. I've always seen them as precious gems and am sure all these ladies will achieve more and more in the coming time . INDIA treats this world as her family , she might have won but she's gonna celebrate the essence of each of you with her wherever she is and in whatever she does . This world is one , We are one .❤

South Africa was nervous.. know that miss Universe is looking for a women who is wellspoken, confident and calm under pressure. Miss India's answer was personal and relatable and she answered confidently with conviction thats why she won.

She said we need to talk less and take action as these climate disasters happened due to our irresponsible behaviour and that’s what she wants to convince everyone that we should talk less and take action rather as each decision could either kill or prevent and it’s better the protect & prevent than repent and repair
I think this is a solid strong point as it’s a common pageant question so it’s new and unique for me
Puerto Rico’s walk was exaggerated. While Philippines was just natural, calm and smooth. She’s just being herself. Maybe the judges wanted someone more natural than someone who’s overdoing it. I am not saying this because I am a Filipino. That’s just what I noticed.
Puerto Rico was even more exaggerated on her final walk on their national pageant, lol.

Still tho, India thoroughly deserved it. Her gowns were simple but elegant, she was extremely confident in her speaking. Congrats on their first crown in 21years!

I was praying like that for Lalela every round and God delivered. She made us proud. I'm happy for India. Her reign is going to be fabulous. ❤️

I disagree. I hated this edition. Found it boring and some decisions didn't make sense like Singapore making it, Great Britain, South Africa too, etc. It's like the prelims meant nothing. The best performers didn't make it and nothing made sense. India did deserve to win though. That was the only saving grace for me.

@@edwinelmejor08 Well every edition is hated by some. I loved last edition but the hate towards the contestants were mindboggling and disgusting. I saw Andrea's from day 1 her charisma was wow, she was just having fun, i also loved Brasil she was so lovely, saluting everyone, it was so different, Peru she was gorgeous but the final night she stood up high like saying my work is done, i saw her personality. Dominican Republic in swimsuit she was also gorgeous i didn't see nervous in her before the finals yes sad for some who didn't make it. Actually everyone that year was so enjoyable, also i realized the queens that competed their time all blend in with the stage like it was meant for them, somehow there is a aura that chooses the winner. My prediction before the competition was Colombia because she also volunteers im Smile Train, and other charity works. But after the prems i somehow liked India and Paraguay and some others. Not always will favorites enter. In the finals, catwalk of Puerto Rico her catwalk was insanely different😍 but she didn't enter 😔. Whatever happens the Queens should always be supported.
@@jayaaarusharia8399 true he was annoying, but he also did some pretty good jokes but i did feel bad for Paraguay and others saying Portugal and saying congrats Paraguay. I love his voice though when he says the country there is like a climax ready to happen. To be honest last year Olivia Culpo wasn't having it but oh well.

Her gowns are from Dubai-based Filipino designer Ezra. I love that you can always rely on a Filipino designer to support queens from all over the world even when others won't do it for them ❤️🇵🇭

After prelim, Puerto Rico was in my top 2 along with India and Philippines was not at my top 16 at all. But after watching Miss Universe, I do want to apologize to all Filipinos, Bea proved me wrong and I’m so happy for that. Philippines really slayed it and earned that top 5 spot. Puerto Rico’s EG performance was so exaggerated, when she came out, I was like nope she is not going to make it. It was over the top and anyway I just found out she unfollowed India in IG, don’t know the reasons( but rumors are she wasn’t happy that she won, she wanted Paraguay to win) whatever the reason is she shouldn’t have unfollowed her. It showed her true colors and lack of sportsmanship. I am shocked. But on a brighter side Kudos to India for the crown and Philippines for the top 5 spot and proved people like me wrong😌😌😌😍😍😍😍😍

They said its a cumulative score so I understood other parts of the night the top 2 were doing a bit better than her
Miss SA really needs to release a statement after everything that happened. This really had us in a roller-coaster of emotions and what's their future with them so call SA designers
I think they made a very subtle statement with Lalela's natcos (the dove of peace). I think that was the most diplomatic way of addressing the situation without stepping on toes.
Her natcos performance was impactful. I was like Wow!
Puerto Rico overdid her walk in evening gown. It looked unnatural and weird. That's why she wasn't in the top 5.
I absolutely loved it, it's was like a African Puerto Rican aura. A catwalk doesn't necessarily has to be natural but also show their personality or who she is or how she wants to show herself by being herself. I thought Colombia will be in top 3.

@JB Loucks there is some exaggeration catwalks from our queens but lately natural catwalks is the thing now? Anyways there are other reasons why she didn't place. I did see nerves on Paraguay slightly, the way she talked was exciting but i did see lack of preparation in that aspect. I don't understand why Colombia didn't place top 3 though she was my predicted winner before the pageant. Anyways good job all the ladies phenomenal job. Lots of love ❤️

Let's look south Africa had strategy .her evening dress was modest she stood out from the rest. Her final look was Israelite and in that dress she was so graceful.

I also choked a bit but after thinking about it for a moment I understood what message she was trying to convey and she meant cancel culture must go parallel with redemption culture if a person gets canceled for doing the wrong thing on social media in the same wavelength they sgud also get a chance to redeem themselves it was an honest answer not a popular answer but she was honest with herself

Ultimately, I wouldn't have minded either of the Top 3 winning the crown, but it was India's destiny to be Miss Universe 2021.

I was surprised for South Africa but congrats and Philippines. I loved Puerto Rico and i saw Colombia in top 3. I felt bad for those who didn't enter but happy for others who did. Aruba, Singapore, Japan and Bahamas were a surprise. Amazing job ladies and congratulations to our New Miss Universe. First of all it's a competition, we all won't be happy. ❤️🇮🇳

Bea's answer was actually very precise and articulate in essence and the message, but it was thee delivery and the pressure of being called last after hearing amazing answers from other contestants might have got into her. She could have said; ( THERE IS NONE SINGLE PERSON DURING THIS PANDEMIC WHO IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS PANDEMIC BOTH PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND EVEN FINANCIALLY. AND SO EVERY LEARNED INDIVIDUALS MUST TAKE THE ISSUE SERIOUSLY AND MUST BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH FOR ONES OWN AND PUBLIC SAFETY AND HELP IN FINDING BEST SOLUTIONS, AND IF HAVING VACCINE PASSPORT WOULD EASE AND HELP IN FIGHTING THIS PANDEMIC THEN I DEFINITELY AGREE FOR IT TO BE MANDATED )
i just wanted to add as well that Steve Harvey's line "is first" kind a bit become a lucky charm for a contestant. I remembered Everytime he says that line like pia and Catriona the contestant magically is crowned, haha😉💪🏻. Just my opinion and observation.

In France there is a rumour that France didn’t make it because Iris want to stay miss universe France forever without anyone sharing the light with anyone. So she underscored france and then later said that clemence needed 0000,01 point to be in the top 5. Also, france did all her preparations alone because her org didn’t finance or helped her.
