Thank you, the key point is that the head doesn't spin, but is looking at one direction all the time. You'll be surprised how easy it is. :)

You've missed one peculiar habit of yours, mainly the leading foot. It's easyer to make the spin in the direction of the leading foot just because of how body aligns itself. What's peculiar in your case is when you rotate against your leading foot you move your other foot in the lead. Wich is fine when you have that kind of fluid footing but usualy people stick with one foot in the lead skateing backwards. Basically your doing something you could call stwich fakie 360 ;) because your doing it on your unatural foot.

Thanks for your comment - well put :)
So the dilemma with me was either rotate to uncomfortable side but land on the comfortable scissor or rotate to your better side, but land on the uncomfortable back scissor. For me the first option worked better.
I liked the name switch fakie 360 :)

Yep that's usually the case ;) for beginners it's not so problematic until they'll try to learn something that needs opposite rotation or footing

Wow...I have the exact same dilemma right now. I prefer to turn clockwise but this results in doing switch 360s all the time because my "comfortable scissor" is right foot in front of me. I did a fakie 360 some days ago and forgot to switch. I landed it with my left foot in front of me, which resulted in smashing my face on the concrete. Not so nice. I can rotate anticlockwise too. However, the only way for me to skate backwards, is to look over my right shoulder. Plus, the only way for me to land a jump is with my right foot in front of me. This causes a lot of "switch" trouble when landing fakie. You cant land fakie with your right foot in front of you, while looking over your right shoulder at the same time.
