Europe 2023 Ep 2: Vienna - Lippizanners, Sausages, Tea and Strudel

On our first day in Vienna, we venture out to see the Lippizanner Stallions at the Spanish Riding School. Further into the day, I sample the famed Vienna Sausages, we have afternoon tea at the Bristol Hotel, and we indulge in some late night strudel at Gerstners.

Loved the look of the afternoon tea. Contemporary, but a nice selection. Had to chuckle at your attempt to find Vienna sausage. Brought back memories of eating Vienna sausages out of a can when I worked night shift in a grocery store in the late 70’s. Absolutely enjoying this VLOG series!

Have missed your posts over the summer.
Sorry about your travel to Europe - you seemed to handle it far better than I would. We had zeri sleep on our flight to Amersterdam two days ago. Lucky you can conk out.

We did have Sacher Tort, but not at the Hotel Sacher. Line was a bit too long.
