The tenor bell cracked so that was recast into a new bell along with two trebles to create the octave in F# and its not the hour bell its the service bell.
It does make one wonder why there was a point in having it used as an extra bell at all? it's perfectly in tune and in the right key that it could have been used in the ring, and is only 18 pounds lighter than the bell that replaced it.

@@adamm2693 I think it was past tuning to fit with the others but was of historical importance

The bell that doesn’t ring full circle is called a Sanctus bell we have one in the tower I ring at plus we have clock bells too
These bells are very badly out of tune!
