Day 3 of no wink from Lefie. I have accepted this new reality. I'm fine. Really. I'm fine.
It's tough, right?
😭
I am not fine…
😂!
Who says she didn't wink behind the camera?
The Crystal Bridges looked amazing in the rain.
Well thank goodness for PBS specials that inspire this kid to cross the US on Route 66! You are a very artistic person and I just found your channel and love this series. I feel like I’m right there with you!
Neon signs are the new bridges.
Wow I would’ve never guessed the Walton family had a museum with such amazing art in Arkansas. I’ll definitely check it out if I’m ever in that area.
Highly recommend! (plus it's free)
Dude, as an art/architecture lover I’m digging this series. That art installation on the water 😍 And Chihuy. I remember watching his specials on PBS yrs and yrs ago. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings Lefie.
Heyyyyy St. Louis!!! Thanks for visiting ;)
I'm really liking this series! I wish I could just get up and go myself, but I'm scared of not being able to make it. I think I just need to take the leap, but watching you is letting me live vicariously through your experience lol.
Route 66 reminds me so much of Cars, one of my all time favourite movies. Love the Lightning McQueen cameo. 😍
AAAAAHHH YOU WENT TO POP'S! I used to live in Oklahoma City and so when you started saying that you were a fan of Neon lights I was like omg is she gonna go to Pop's? No, probably not, it's probably some big city thing... I'm so happy you loved Pop's! I loved going there too!
That museum is the stuff of dreams….
Neet. Thanks for taking us with you.
There are sections called “Old Rt. 66” that are not part of the regular Route 66. There are little towns and sites to see there too.
I grew up in Southwest Oklahoma and you are right. It is mostly grass and cows.
AH! My suspicions have been confirmed!
Loving these videos! Happy to see you back in this corner of the internet. I love how observant you are, such a lover of the details!
Those roadside photo ops. are always more fun with a friend.
Keep up the great videos. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Lefie, you should definitely come to Italy, you would go out of your mind!!!
Or come to scandinavia! Time to look for your scandi roots?? 🌳🙋♀️🇩🇰
Ooh! Both are killer ideas. So tempting.....
I'm a little late for this again 😩
Great adventures Lefie ☺ and that ponytail looks good on you 🙂👌🏼!
What a great way to come back !! I was pumped I knew the area in Chicago where you went. I'd been there just in July - I wish we could have overlapped. So glad to have you back on.
I think you look so cute with your high ponytail at the beginning of this video 😊
I'm really enjoying this series 🙂
I find you and your videos very interesting.
Thank you!
Wahey! was wondering where you were! Glad to see ya back ^_^
Big fan of colour? Wearing black and white, in colourless room 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This series is so awesome and you’re spoiling us with daily content but the lack of wink is like a sentence without a period
#weneedwinks 😉
😅
I'm so in love with what you do .
Be save .
And lastly l like your shirt fits nicely
I stayed at that moonrise hotel super nice and the rooftop bar was amazing
These are some great places to just add to my own bucket list- a thing I didn't make previously! The Momentary is a huge standout, it's like a weird architecture building I've visited in my dreams. Would love to step inside.
I'm in Texas! Although I doubt you came anywhere near where I am. Can't wait for the next one!
When you said you were taking Route 66 I thought, ‘Maybe they’ll go to Pops!’ (I live in OK.) :)
Your reaction to Uranus, MO. 🤣
"came back for more?" Sure did.. lol. ;)
Is that place Blueberry Hill the place from the song? That makes so much more sense!!
Heyyyy! Part 3!
Lefie this is amazing - thank you! Now about that cat! LOL
PS did you get a 6 pack of soda? If so what flavours! ? 🙂
Heck yeah I did! If I remember correctly, it was a root beer, butterscotch, cream soda, strawberry cream, salted caramel, and some kind of citrusy lemon thing (all diet). It was fun to try them, but I wish they made them in tinier sizes so I could try more flavors in smaller amounts!
Yes! I was right about route 66.
Traveling with you must be a blast!
Have you read American Gods?
❤️🎉
How many Calder sculptures are on this trip?
Not enough, never enough! 😆
road trip ROAD TRIP!
If you haven't passed through Flagstaff yet, I'm so excited that you'll get to experience the home of my alma mater. Fun little city with interesting shops to explore downtown, and great hiking if you have the time. And there's the Grand Canyon not too far, of course. And if you've already passed through the area, I hope you enjoyed it!
WAIT, this is all past tense, isn't it? I just remembered you're filming from your destination. Doop doop :)
I think Tulsa Race Massacre is the correct way to refer to what happened. Riot has a different implication compared to what actually happened.
You're very right - my apologies!

Knowledge is power. Got to fight back against racist indoctrination we didn't even know we had.
You might want to make a note in the description or add a pinned comment about this... just for good hygiene. Because though I am not sure if it is at the same level as the "All LM" vs BLM *_problem,_* I can't really speak for those that it would concern and how they would feel.
I do not like 59 this would make it 60 "comments"
to do reasearch on route 66 loved the whole series but have skimmed em I will watch em by the end of week.
Put Cars on your bucket list. It has those buildings you visited, old cars, neon, it's my favorite movie alongside Smoke Signals.
Will do!
Aw man, you spent your time in St Louis hanging out at Joe Edwards' properties. You totally missed the City Museum. Could have at least passed through Blueprint Coffee or Seoul Taco, they're both right there on Delmar. It would be out of your way, but Sump Coffee at Jefferson and Winnabego is also a great roaster.
City Museum is the coolest place ever…
Ah, dang! Well I'm sure I'll be back - thanks for the reccos! Writing these down now...
hi!
hi back!
Since you like Route 66 and old cars, I actually think you might enjoy Cars (the movie).
