      I could see them doing this without the aquatic and birds. Maybe Turkey and walrus get added because they are similar to peacocks and seals but we are not getting whales

    I have been following the sunatran and javan rhinos avidly as of late. At their current state its a toss up between whether they go exrinct in 20 years or recover to number in the 1000s.

    Man, the depression that I felt binging all the Planet Zoo wishlists and seeing so few reptiles ;-; I understand it's everyones personal opinion, it just is kind of a bummer. I wish Planet Zoo had added rigs/support for habitat snakes before this point, plus there's now such inconsistency in which size animals go in exhibits... Green iguanas, for example, get around 6 foot long: the nile monitor is 8ft max, but strangely one is in a small tank. Meanwhile, prairie dogs are in habitats! (sorry im just a salty ecologist about that all). I understand that this video is within the constraints of the current rigs/mechanics, but so many large reptiles are not represented- Rhino Iguanas, Alligator Snappers, Anacondas, any of the bigger Pythons. I know I'm biased and I think they need way more birds too, but it just makes me so sad the anaconda won't be added.
    ANYWAYS: Victoria crowned pigeons and roadrunners are in a zoo I visit often and they are so cute! We also have Crested Curassow that fly around an open-air room. And they're BIG birds, too, but they never bother anyone.
    One thing I'd extremely love is if Planet Zoo had included Tuatara as an exhibit animal in the Oceania pack. They're a species of reptile that looks like a lizard but is NOT a lizard, it's basically the last of its kind in the world and only lives in Aotearoa! In terms of animal education it would have been so momentous to add it, like many people know about Kiwis but tuatara are relatively unknown and super cool.
    Anyways thanks for letting me ramble in your comments
    (PS: Vih -coo - nyuh, nyuh is like nyan cat but with an "uh" sound instead of "an")

      I definitely want all the reptiles you mentioned but I'd expect them to end up in the exhibits. I'd love more creative options though, so I'd want to see an exhibit overhaul with different sized boxes and null barriers to make the illusion that our reptiles are in open habitats. I'd love the Tuatara, they have them at the zoo I worked at ❤

      @@shaununiverse yeah, unfortunately an anaconda wouldn't be appropriate for an exhibit. Some people have suggested giving different box sized for the exhibits. But like the reticulated python at the zoo I went to recently has like a... 20ftx8 ft cage because theyre 20ft snakes. plus anacondas are semiaquatic. I mean, if the dwarf caimen is a habitat animal... watching those videos has made me want to do a video just going into reptile representation in videogames haha.
      im so impressed they had a tuatara! I didn't actually know if they had them at many zoos.

    How many more animals aer we likely to see now that they've begun the marketing for the Console Edition, how long till they move on to their next project? Do we have any concrete answers for if more animals are coming?

    • @shaununiverse
      @shaununiverse  Před 3 měsíci +1

      All we know is PC is definitely getting at least one more DLC. It's likely to be a scenery pack since the last DLC was an animal pack, but two animal packs in a row isn't out of the question.
      Frontier has ended support for previous games with slightly bigger final DLCs, so the final DLC for Planet Zoo MAY have more content than an average pack...whether that's the one more DLC confirmed or another one further down the line, we'll have to wait and see.
