That's more likely to be perspiration than sebum. Plus, it's definitely advisable not to do a clay masque too often because your skin condition doesn't need that. Plus the skin needs sebum to form the natural anti-bacterial moisture barrier to keep you protected. Pores can't be detoxed - it's medically not possible, but you can give a superficial surface cleanse to remove the top epithelial cells that have already keratinized and dessicated. It's a nice tight clean feeling when you take the masque off but do re-add a skin memetic oil such as jojoba plus a skin conditioner to help protect from dehydration (TEWL) until your skin has time to produce enough sebum to make the natural barrier effective again.

It's a standard clay mask, so the results are temporary but the formula is nicer than other clay mask in terms of feel, even though they work the same. Even the day it sits on the skin is standard

this mask is SUPER gentle and hasn't irritated my skin at all! def some clay masks can be agressive but this one has been fine :)
