Ever since Dominion I've ways thought an idea would just be to take a family on a small plane tourist flight that crashes in the middle of a dino reserve. They need to get out of the reserve while being tracked by some carno whos nest was destroyed in the crash. Chuck in an abandoned cabin or mining town as some nice set pieces, maube the family stumbles across poachers or something so we can have some deaths where your rooting for the dinos.
That’s kinda close to JP3, except it’s a spinosaurus, and there’s no poachers.
@@sanslikespunsandstuff That reminds me of a theory someone came up with that made a lot of sense. It was put into question why the Spinosaurus was so determined to kill Alan and the others. Well someone theorized it was due to them accidently hitting the Spinosaurus with the plane that Spinosaurus became pissed at them enough to track them throughout the island.

I wish we get a live action horror TV show, with the example below being a episode that a group of potchers are picked of one by one until the final surviver dies the same way as nedry in the novel after the tyrantnosaur drags him to its nest were all of of his companions body's lay ripped apart but not eaten laying along side the remains of the nest of eggs the Yutyranuse had layed.
This is a movie without plot armor.... Adding a movie that feels so different from the majority of movies, feels like a cool addition to the franchise. Kinda like how Man of Steel has such a different vibe from Peacemaker. And they both take place in the DCEU. This horror Jurassic horror movie idea would be cool. Would like to see one done for the Mososaurus as well.

Anyone else think swrve should make a short story and then read it I mean like listening to him read this is quite relaxing and I can actually imagine everything as he says it.
This image actually reminded me of one of the Jurassic Park: Redemption Comics, where a carnotaurus attacked some cattle in Texas. I think that part in the comic was a lucid dream. I can't remember. I'll check on it later and see if it is.
Edit: I checked and there was a panal in the comic where the carno did attacked the cattle in the truck, and it didn't took place in a dream...

Swrve, i noticed something really interesting. In the Portugal portuguese version of the Chaos Theory trailer, instead of Ben saying: "We need to warn the others", he says "We need to warn Yaz and Kenji", so I think that pretty much confirms what you said about Brooklyn being kidnapped or unavaliable.

The carnotauras scene was from the lost world book where the toros were camouflaged following the doc while looking for fuel. Would have been amazing to see live action

I think another good story could take place in a swamp setting. It could be about a friendly old fisherman and his grandson who live on a shack above the water that is on stilts. The dinosaur could possibly be an abused juvenile Suchomimus covered in scars.
Or possibly in a different one, the dinosaur could be a Quetzalcoatlus, and a “crazy guy/girl” could be screaming here be dragons!

I’ve been working on an animated horror movie with a similar plot, named “Camouflage.” It is based off the Camouflaging Carnotaurus concept from Jurassic Park: The Lost World. In this film, a mysterious and fatal attack occurs in Big Rock National Park. Due to the encounter, the National park closes while a team from the Department of Fish and Wildlife investigate the cause of death. The word of a loose dinosaur draws a want-to-be social media star to sneak into the park and catch footage of the creature in hopes of internet fame. Both groups don’t realize that the creature they are hunting is actually hunting them… It’s about halfway done and probably be done by the end of April or May. What do you think of that concept?

I would love for the JP prequel to be about huricans clarissa and the whipeout of Site B. Let the raptors and perhaps camouflage Carnos be the main bad guys. And end it with the escape of the Spino or something like that.
We dont need another apex predator. I think raptors troodons and carnos would make a far more horror themed movie
It's a real shame we didn't get scenes like this. I just kept rolling my eyes watching the Dinos take a side seat so the movie could just be the plot of Taken. It's sad how this movie could've been so much more

That’s such a cool idea for a short film! I’d love to see more horror from the Jurassic franchise seeing that they can do so much more. I like the idea of having a live action show with horror aspects, maybe about kids (idk maybe Maisie?) or a short film.
I absolutely ADORE this concept!! I don’t care what medium or budget (if any) it would be made with, but if ANYONE made this into an actual short film I’d watch the hell out of it!

Why little or no mention of the confirmed shooting schedule? The new Jurassic film is being filmed in Malta, Thailand and London from this June through to October.

Carnotaurus make for some incredible horror scenes, specialy if they can camouflage like in the lost world novel.
That would be a really cool plot for a short story. Add in horror and suspense and you could have a brilliant short movie or TV series.

Hello swrve hope you’re doing well. Something I want to address to you is that a lot of Jurassic films overlap with release of gta games. When the lost world Jurassic park came in 1997 that the same year the original gta game came out. When Jurassic park 3 came out in 2001 that when gta 3 came out. When Jurassic world in 2015 came out that when gta 5 for pc came out. When Jurassic world fallen kingdom came out in 2018 even though we did not get a gta game that year we did get red dead redemption 2 which was similar to gta. When Jurassic world dominion came out in 2022 that when gta 5 for ps5 came out. Now with the release of Jurassic 7 in 2025 that when gta 6 is plan to come out(I know there talks about gta 6 being delayed to 2026 but that just rumors and speculation no actual confirmation)

I like the story. It's good, gritty, suspenseful, Dominion didn't have much of these aspects really. My only critique is I just don't think that many farmers would actually keep any landmines around for safe keeping. That's definitely not what farmers have in the states, but grant it, maybe some do outside the country.

They should do a proper horror movie in the Jurassic Park/World universe, but with unique characters where we don’t know who lives and dies because plot armor. Tales from a Jurassic World, fan CZcams channel, did a great job making the dinosaurs actually seems scary and deadly

Swrve you just made a super dark story just now that darker than the " it " movie like a child (you didn't specificly said how old the child are) but a child and his/her (again didn't specify the gender) are being terrorise by a pair of carnotaurus and the child just saw his/her mother got killed and draged into the woods and afterwards witnessed his/her father commited self kill (didn't wanna get demonetized) and just blowing himself and the carnotaurus face with a last word "i love you" and like damm bro your going the darked path
