I think it's the mellophone part in "Dancing Queen" that really drives the piece beautifully.❤

Buckeye fan coming in peace here♥🤍: Michigan has always had a superb band and I'm glad to see that tradition continue. This is a fun and exciting show and I look forward to more this year.

❤this show they sound well balanced IMO. 🎉🎵🎵🎵 heck we need that sound system the announcer has.😎 our announcers have to yell into the mike and we still don't understand what they say. Also in my opinion. Anyway again I enjoyed it. Y'all have a great day ❤❤❤😎

Maybe consider Picture in Picture to highlight dance team special routines while still showing formations.

Please understand that this is not an HBCU band. They still did a great show. Every organization has their own style. At least this band kept it entertaining. I marched in an hbcu band and I still enjoyed Michigan's show. Lets be encouraging.

Those arrangements of the pop & R&B tunes sound very commercialized. Very vanilla, dainty, not sounding all that close to the original songs. No soul, no oomph.

      Yeah it's a marching band

    • @MrOu83

@@KenWesaw-up5wf - What has that got to do with anything? It’s the arrangements, not the fact that it’s a marching band. If you want to hear college marching bands with excellent arrangements if R$B, pop, etc., arrangements, and who aren’t all stiff, cute and rigid, in their playing of the aforementioned genres, look to many of the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), especially the Southern University”Human Jukebox” Marching Band.

Absolutely correct! HBCU marching bands are the best at capturing the soul essence of R&B tunes in marching band style/format.
