I filled in for Sylosis on their recent tour with Bleed From Within (my own band) and Devildriver. Their drummer Rob, a good friend of mine, couldn't make the tour so I helped out last minute.
This was my favourite of their songs to play live. It has some cool breaks and riffs that I could really lay into.

Ali really reminds me of Chris Adler. The fills are so similar and so down beat oriented. No deviation, just straight down the middle and just owning the click. Sooooooo good. Adler is finesse while Ali is power. I think Ali will be a big big name soon

BIG! saw these guys this summer, normally not into "newschool" bands but these guys blew me away.... as a drummer myself, big up to ali and the guys! (btw love the CFH tattoo!!)

Your fill-in for Rob was amazing, let me tell you that. Pulled off every song the way it should be played. Although I was looking forward to see Rob playing the drums, I enjoyed watching you as well.

Brilliant, super tight. I've always wondered what mix you get in your ears though Ali, is it trigger and a click?
I take a split from the kick, an ambient mic, thru line from my sampler, a monitor send with a mix of my snare/toms and guitars. Don't play to click live man, I like the push and pull of a live gig.

I've always thought since the uprising tour you started to run a click through your spdsx! Im currently trying to run one through my spds and its a ballache! any advice dude?
I have used click recently for live performances of the BFW track, "Devotion" as we have samples running throughout. I just split a line from my iPhone. Pan samples left, and click right. One line goes to my mixing desk, and the other to FOH. Hope that is of some help mate.
