It never snows where I live (and Christmas is in summer), so my holiday tradition is to boot up BL2 and either play through the headhunter story or just wander around Frost bottom and take in the scenery.
I think this chest is one of the best class mod farm (either blue or legendary) and launcher farm for normal and tvhm
My best snowman chest drop was a corrosive fastball, favorite drop from chest was a shitty gunnerang i had some fun with, good shit keep it going dawg!
I'll never forget Joltz's random avenger from a pile in his launchers sal run, wish i could get that lucky

So far i've only gotten one world drop from tinder himself, a decent Bee
I find it funny, I’ve farmed Tinder Snowflake a couple of times, and I’ve had a chance to snatch a legendary from out the chests on the train.
I just think it’s funny that the people who say “I’m unable to find any legendaries from the bosses I farm” are the players who aren’t putting the effort into farming any boss in general.

I’ve actually got two pearls from a bullymong piles in the Christmas headhunter. First a storm then showing a friend the pile I got my storm from I got another storm
I don't know, man. Might be level related. I've been kinda stuck without good weapons at lvl 64. I did some midget farming to no avail, and since I watched your video I tried the snowman. I've killed it about 15-20 times so far, made it to lvl 67 pretty much just by the kills (started the farm halfway through 65) and I have only dropped a single legendary grenade mod. Everything else is kinda iffy e-tech guns, mostly pistols and launchers. Feels like a waste of time, but thankfully it's a very fast kill and pretty easy even without good weapons, with a little help from the elevator shaft.
Elevator shaft, lady fist and bee makes light work of him. I think you’re right I’ve gotten six legends out of him at level 60 after 30 runs.
You can get world drops from snowflake tho, got 2
0:40 Are we talking about the chest or ghe boss drops, im pretty sure in the code that Tinder Snowflake can't drop legendaries, but obviously the chest can, it's the best farm in the game since it has exclusive equipment type drop slots.

Some bosses, like Bad Maw, mad mike, and ❄️ are specifically programed to not have world drop abilities.
We’re talking about the chest but tinder snowflake actually can world drop legendaries. Search “tinder snowflake drops legendary” on CZcams. He can also world drop a pearl. These odds are very very low and it’s super rare but it can indeed happen

@@bast4rdlyreaper Yeah. I know it’s nuts that some people don’t think you can legendaries out his chest, I think a lot of them are farming him on normal mode with significantly less odds. But yeah, it’s 100% true that he can world drop! Hopefully one day I can get that to happen :)

Same. Made 30 runs at Tinder Snowflake and only one legendary so far from the train. And that was from the very first attempt.
I got one from bullymong pile. The pile right above the knuckledragger. And the drop was a hornet too 😂😂🎉 not a joke 😊

I did this the other day and got a 81% sham on tvhm, was pretty made up it dropped right at the start 😀

Just recently I've got an 89% Sham and WTF shields, 2 leg soldier and 1 leg engineer & leg ninja coms, Quasar and Rolling Thunder grenades. All from loot train. Never got a leg weapon tho.

First time i fought tinder which was a long ass time ago i got a legendary first run. Just recently downloaded BL2 again.

How do you make them respawn and the items respawn
Save and quit, respawns the boss and you can kill him again

I found that legendaries were never in the loot pool until UVHM.
Not true. Just much much much lower odds on normal and Tvhm. You can see me get a legendary from it in true vault Hunter on my Zer0 in a recent video from weeks ago called “Nostalgic For Borderlands 2”

Correction to my first comment: after you asked if it’s possible to get a legendary from a bullymong pile. It wasent a skag pile I got the legendary, it was in fact a bullymong pile. I have video proof of getting a legendary shield from one while I was farming a rough rider in hammerlocks dlc

Killed this boss 50 times and still waiting for that legendary lmao I was level 46 while I was farming tvhm snowman boss, now I'm level 49 close to level 50
The drop rates dramatically increase in the chest in UVHM. Also, why not just beat TVHM to get to level 50? So much quicker, I’m actually plaything through another Axton, and I’m level 49 as well 😂 about to get the lady fist and do talon of god. Move onto UVHM, where the real game begins.

I’m pretty unlucky with the chests but just earlier tinder himself dropped a legendary grenade. I didn’t know that was possible. Then again anything is possible considering I once got a legendary from a skag pile

because you’re in normal mode most likely. the drop rates of the trains chest and chests in general have low drop rates in normal and true vault Hunter mode.

Its the grog nozzle from Tiny Tina's DLC. You have to start a side quest to collect beards from Claptrap, you will recieve the gun but DO NOT complete the quest or the gun will be locked away for the rest of the play through

Maybe I should try and finally farm the 94 in Op10. (I have one but a buddy of mine gave it to me) Regardless its one of the rarest drop in the game. Hats off to you for that. :)

You need to beat the game and you’ll get to TVHM. Which you’ll finish around level 30ish. After you finish TVHM. Which is your new game + mode. You’ll UVHM. Where all the enemies will scale with your level.
Many of those commenters are probably playing normal mode , or tvhm lol. I literally get tinder snowflake chest to drop legendaries almost every other time i kill him. Even gotten all the few pearls That can world drop from that chest, except the unforgiven.
That’s exactly what I thought when I initially read them. Forgot to mention that in the video. His chest has always had good odds. Found it insane that I had so many people commenting about it.
maybe. in normal mode i usually farm snowman for transfusion grenades and e-techs. looks like now in UVHM train loot slightly better

2 legendary siren class mods for my Maya. tons of e-techs tons of relic but no shock plasma caster that i farmed snowman for.
but i keep killing snowman. got 89% sham and another legendary shield. i want evolution i know seraphs is not possible in train loot.
finally i got my wanted maliwan shock plasma caster i'm happy )))

i got my lvl bee shield from skeleton pile in flamerock refuge )))) i just wanted to go forest to farm new bee shield and search some skeleton pile and that's it )))))) great!
Hell yeah! He’s easily one of best farms for legendary items and those drops from piles are absolutely insane. I’ve seen a trash pile legendary (which I got a video up of the drop) and I’ve seen a baby maker from a Varkid pile. Absolutely love those moments
