    Great video with real educational value, Mani! I just wanted to know when you're configuring these chatbots for a customer, at what point do you add their Resources/content such as docs, pdf's, url's etc to help the bot answer specific questions about the business? Also, how does the chatbot get the booking ref's for the guests from the hotel database? Is there an api required? or did I miss it in the video? Many thanks

      Thanks Jerry. Adding data sources to the Knowledge base is covered in the first tutorial. Please watch from 00:51:00. I will update my timestamps.
      For booking reference, I didn’t cover that part in the tutorial. Only Google maps integration for the hotel chatbot.
      To answer your question, We can achieve that functionality in multiple ways. And yes, API is required.
      We can start by saving that hotel data in an AirTable and fetch the data using a GET request. Just like how I did in the 2nd tutorial (ecommerce chatbot) for order tracking. Of course there are other ways as well. Join my skool if you have any other questions

      Hello Khalid! VectorShift is definitely more affordable. One drawback I see in terms of vectorshift is that we can’t add buttons etc. Great for customer service but not much for building complex conversion flows. They have some great inbuilt automations though.
      How much you charge should depends on various aspects like how much your solution is profitable to your client, how many integrations/automations they requested, join my Skool if you’d to interact with other agency owners

    This is so helpful! Thanks so much! I am wanting to position my chatbot in a specific spot on my Wix page and am using their embed element. It works well except if the page has content below, when the user opens the chat window or if I auto open it .. The page jumps down (scrolls down). For my purposes it really doesn’t help me to have it in the standard chat area because I want it to be the focus for the user. Larger and centered. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the video, I just think you are not up to date. There is actually a way for chatGPT to get to 'learn' or inject the information you want and react on that. That is what they call 'Custom GPTs' (solely available for subscribed users), which they launched some months ago. To me, the value of design tools like voiceflow is the development of your own, conditional chat flow and that you can create customized chatbots outside of ChatGPT.

      That’s a lot of sources for VG knowledge base (even on highest tier plan). You would probably need to scrape the data from webpages to a documents and upload it as fewer docs.
      If they’re real estate listings or ecommerce listings. I’ve used StackAI & Flowise AI in the past. you’d probably need to use make.com to fetch the data and save it to an AirTable database and use it as a Knowledge base. StackAI had AirTable dataloader.

      When I initially started out 8-9 months ago, I was using Botpress. Main issue was AI models on Botpress were not good, we had to use StackAI or Flowise on top of Botpress. Also API integrations needed a bit of coding knowledge, some of our team found it intimidating. Voiceflow solved all of these.
      I haven’t tried Botpress in a while. I will make a Botpress Course/Tutorial this month.

    Hey thanks for the very helpful tutorial. At 01:03:00 - Intent Scoping Fix (Error) you suggest to change intent scoping so that the user will not be brought back to the start of the contact flow. However, what if the user doesn't continue with entering email, phone etc. but says something that should bring him back to the start (e.g. "I would like to start over"). How would you solve that?

      Hi, Thank you. I’ve added a confirmation card where chatbot will ask the user whether to submit the form or start over to make edits.
      Or you can try with intent scoping as is and see how it works for you. Or you can add confirmation card at email step if you’d like.

      We can definitely use the text input sent by user but I haven’t seen location being shared by the user.

    Hello sir, very nice video! I hope you see my comment. Actually, I want to add a first step which is a greeting and a multipe language choices (FR, EN, AR, and more) and make the bot reply and complete the conversation in the language that the client has chosen in the first step. When the client starts asking questions, they receive replies in that language too, even if the knowledge base i added is written in a different language than they chose. for me i want to creat one bot path from start to finish and have multiple blocks for example (1-hello and choose language/2- greating in the client language/3-client start asking questions/4-bot reply from knowledge base but texts are transtaled to the client language/5-asking about the client information name-number-email/6-collecting the client information/7-verification/8-rating the client experiment/9-salutation and end chat), is it possible for the ai to translate all the messages from those blocks to the client launguage, if YES can you please sho me ho to do it my just a biginner, or i should creat a path for every language, thanks you sir i hope you undestand my question.

      For variants you have an option to generate them 1 - 5 at a time and hit enter to accept the suggestions.
      If you want to manually type each I think you need to use random in logic instead of generating. If you still need help, join my skool and I’ll make you a loom video

    Thank you for the detailed tutorial. But I have a question about the hotel assistant. You said it would be deployed to whatsapp, when i deploy my chatbot to whatsapp i can only display 3 buttons. Is there a way to display more buttons on whatsapp?

      Thank you Rick. WhatsApp does have some limitations with embeds as well, hopefully they improve it soon. Or you can try to achieve the functionality with intent instead of buttons

      Two options. Simple one- Make your chatbot password protected and only ones with password can access it. More sophisticated one use tools like softr and airtable to make everyuser create an account and have logins for the chatbot.
      Or If your client is using nocode platforms like webflow, you can create logins and password protected pages for team as well.

    what if voiceflow susbcription ends, and we make a bot for a client, then do we have to purchase premium or make client buy voiceflow premium and take his account details and make it on his name and on his premium voiceflow account?

      I guess you answered your own question here. yes, either you or your client should buy premium when it ends (or use all free tokens).
      Usually I let my clients create accounts and share credentials with me or invite me as admin and they stay as viewer so we only pay for one seat.

    Voiceflow has changed the interface and is now using workflows instead of topics, domains. So it is difficult to follow the video as I am trying to actually build the chatbot while watching your video. I am not sure how to use workflows etc. also I can’t see any button on the left of the canvas to create an event. For a newbie like me this is very confusing. I watched a couple of your videos and they are all made with the earlier Voiceflow interface. You may need to record new videos
