As someone in construction I can say with confidence that HardieBacker boards are made from a fiber reinforced mixture of cement and plaster by the way
This channel is the equivelant of giving 2 toddlers rocks and telling them not to hurt one another. The idiotic chaos that you guys entertain me with is amazing. The muzzle awareness is a tad scary tho.
I am a direct descendent of James Hardie . he is great grandfather and he came to Australia from Scotland. My last name is Hardie and I got a pleasant surprise when I saw the video title. The sheets are made of fibre impregnated cement. I never really wanted to learn about the products the company makes bit I have been offered jobs within the company. If I had a business degree I guess I could have been a sales rep etc.
@@walter9724even so, take a dive and give it a try. You never know unless you give it a shot. Besides that, obviously, the more you do something the faster you'll pick up on it. You can't say you can't do it if you don't at least give it a shot. What's the worst that can happen? It doesn't work out and you're back where you're at now.
You should see how bullet proof the material that makes casts for an injured person are. If you do make sure you put it in water and let it harden before you shoot it. I was in a freak accident and needed many reconstruction surgeries on my right leg, right ankle, and right foot. I'm still in rough shape seeing as my last surgery was 1 week ago. I thought to myself I wonder how many casts it would take to stop a bullet. I think it would be cool if you tested my idea because it would be dedicated to all of us that are going through a lot.
Most walls are no where near bullet proof. One of my pet peeves in TV and Movies is how people duck behind walls made of sheet rock and it stops a bullet dead in it's tracks. I have repaired bullet holes that have gone thru a whole house and out the other side. This house was in the boonies so are assuming a hunter missed what ever it was he was shooting at didn't know there was a home in the area. Two exterior walls and two interior sheet rock walls. I imagine if it had hit a stud it would have slowed it down or stopped it before going all the way thru.
hey Edwin can you try Block of epoxy or a board made from epoxy if they bullet proof. as I know epoxy super hard. so you should make a science session about that 😅
I've been a carpenter for 30 plus years and if your talking about what I think you are your body is correct there is fiberglass in it unless of course it is cement board but even Durock which is similar to cement board has a fiberglass mesh on the outside.
4:22 Edwin I feel like these should have been spread | 2 inches | Each side of the wall would have one. This likely would make a significant difference in the penetration.

Hardie® Backer Board is different from other brands due to its composition. While the brand doesn’t disclose the exact composition of its product, we know that it is made of 90% Portland cement and sand. The remaining 10% are undisclosed proprietary ingredients that don’t include any fillers or aggregates. Comparatively, generic cement boards can contain up to 30% fillers, 10% cellulose, and 15% mica.
Bro, if possible make a video for testing javelin or other tank destroyer power. I would like see how these weopons is powerful against stainless and concrete?
Put acrylic 14ga steel and foam neoprene between the sheets to spread the force. 2 sets. 10 layers of Hardiboard is still cheaper than a real ballistic sheet.
Cool holster... BUT! if you are so unlucky to stick it in loaded and cocked with safety off, and then draw it to fast so you by accident pull the trigger, it's bye bye hip bone or bye bye leg/foot😅
It’s cement board, usually used to correct bad walls before tilling to save using a plasterer. In my my view it saves time and money but people’s opinion differ 😉

Ha, you guys should have just flipped the boards over. The bottom had no holes in it. Great content as always!
He is swimming in $$, I doubt saving a buck would even occur to him.
Great job, amigo. Long time no see again. Happy Halloween.

I would guess at least 4 full casts (both sides) to stop the first bullet
The plaster isn’t going to stop anything, it will shatter.

In the Netherlands almost all walls are bulletproof, because most of the time they are build solid. Though i wouldn't take a chance with the .50BMG.
Edwin is not just a flower, he is fire🔥🔥🔥
You should shoot Quartz countertop or Dekton countertop material.
You read my mind Edwin 😂 Thank you. I am remodeling my kitchen right now and was thinking about this.
Those Hardie Backers are so strong!🎉
Even a bullet of M74 can be saved by 9 boards!!
What's good big G ✌🏽🤠

the fire ring of the Desert Eagle 50AE is amazing
Is that a BFR in your holster or are you just pleased to see me?
What kind of 545 ammo were you using? 7n6 or just regular?
