Zach Bush MD | Thoughts Along the Mississippi River

  • Dr. Zach Bush shares his point of view on the greatest opportunity that exists in front of us all. From the tip of the Mississippi River, the home of the vast majority of the runoff from midwestern farmland, he explains that what we choose to do and buy is the most powerful influence we have as consumers.
We have the opportunity to change our behavior to get back in touch with our farmland, the farmers that grow our food, and the highest potential of humanity in the process. When we hold each other to higher standards, we have the opportunity to uplift the entire community, country, and the world.
We have all been a part of the destruction and now we are here to be a part of the regeneration our planet so desperately needs.

VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLAR! The message has become loud and clear. Let's not let temporary material conveniences distract us from the truth any longer! It is unfortunate that our dollar often times creates more of an impact than our voice but this is the reality that we are currently in. I feel in my heart and see each an every day that this is changing. Each of you here give me hope and reassurance.
Thank you all and thank you Dr. Zach B.

Zach, the "authorities" have known for years. Thank you for sticking with it and allowing the public to be informed about what may be going into their mouths. I tried, without success, to get our government to acknowledge this over 20 years ago. I am an Agent Orange widow, and the U.S. is probably the most polluted country on the planet next to Viet Nam and New Zealand. Love you and wishing you all the best.

I love Zach's take on life. I like looking at the reviews and find hope inn their comments. I wrote about him in my new book How To Survive In the 21st Century. This is a critical time to be alive. It the Great Reset coming from the World Economic Forum is to be believed, then we will need all our collective resources to enable us to defeat this insanity. Human beings need to wake up and realise we have the collective intelligence and the creative power to change this world. The time is now. We need to come together and realise that we have to change this world and that corporatocracy is not going create a healthier world for us to live in, when the most powerful corporations are the pharmaceutical industry, and they make money out of the DEMISE of our health. Reforming agriculture is fundamental to health not just of us, but of the planet. Regenerative agriculture is a reality and it is growing helped by people like Zac Bush.

It is, IN DEED..in the everyday life, and everyday options that we make,
that we DO, make a difference.
I truly believe the moto -> be the change you want to see in the World.
And the more we are aware of the implications of our actions..and the constructions which instigate them...the more we will be able to exist in harmony with the Whole, instead of feeling guilty and trying to mitigate it by being less-bad.
Thank you, Dr. Bush, for the Work you do, and for the human that you are !

Dr. Zach, We always talk about eating organic or regenerative organic, but what about the crops that are grown for other purposes. We need to vote with our dollars on these, too. 90% of the US grown cotton is GMO and heavily sprayed with glyphosate and other chemicals. And what about the GMO crops grown for biofuels... aren’t they releasing the chemicals not only in the growing process, but when they are used as fuel exposing the air with glyphosate and other harmful chemicals? Can we easily show consumers where the best places are to support with their dollars to put the chemical corporations out of business?

I know of no one in my area that eats like I do, everyone I know eats corn syrup, milk, gluten, pork. People just don't care, I end up drinking coffee and eat what I bring to a potluck or a morning breakfast meeting. People are depressed, overweight, cancer, many operations, bad back pains, always have aches and pains, it is normal, they don't befieve that they can be pain free and healthy. We raise our own eggs, garden for all tomatoes, peppers, onions, greens. Collect our water for our gardens, and use living roots for mulch, ie, rye, turnips, vetch and many other cover crops. We mulch everything, everyones leaves, kitchen scraps, ash, tree mulch.

I can help Mr Bush. There are alternative technologies and methodologies to help farmers move away from chemicals but the biggest challenge is getting them willing. I know you know this but there are also many ways to address this you may not know? Getting the farmers to listen to you and take the plunge to change is so key and I so hope you are successful in this. Many of us have been trying to get farmers to change from chem ag for over 30 years. If you want help please let me know what I can do to help you?

I'm a firm believer in voting daily via my consumption spending. If everyone spent in a way that reflected all of the outrage we all have when we see a turtle with a straw in its nose, it would make a big difference in how many turtles had straws in their noses and what was dissolved in the water of rivers like the Mississippi. If people who have a feeling about that stuff (which I hope is a lot of people) go and spend money at places that care about that kind of thing and not at places that don't, over time, the problem fixes itself and a morey positive cohesive life comes along with it.
