@@Astro_editsftbl if you were to put it in the hours you work at a 9-5 that’s typically 40 hours a week. Double that is 80 hours. That’s two weeks but then add the 17 additional hours. That’s near three weeks and I didn’t say a month did i? I said nearly a month. So in work hours yes it’s about close to a month. If you are referring to someone working like 15 hours of the day each day then no that’s a different story. But to work that many hours on a painting each day is yikes.

I totally agree me and my daughter have the exact same favorite animal. I like horses more than she does but our favorite animal is the gray wolf and we always watch werewolf movies even the old corny ones lol oh my God I love this painting. I absolutely love it.

And then there are abstract ‘’artists’’ who can even draw anything properly, their drawing level is like that of a 5 year old, but they consider themselves great artists because they are so lucky that people a so fckn stupid to buy their artwork for insane amount of money, it’s paintings that the buyers would be able to do themselves lol.. realism requires real skill, it’s a shame that aren’t collectors don’t see that.

Did you know that abstract art is the number one selling genre? Look back on art history. It is the artists with style that are remembered. For example Van Gogh was an abstract artist.
I wouldn't underestimate the skill of painting abstract art, because if you zoom in on the most realistic paintings (or even just real life) the details will be very abstract. I know a lot of people look down on abstract art but it's a great and important skill to have when pursuing realism! 😊
