This may not be helpful at all, but I will fix a portable breakfast for my middle son. It is hard to get him out the door for school. So, I found if I make him a breakfast he can eat on the drive to school, I can get him out the door on time and he still eats. Oh! Love the window seat. To save money, you could buy a mattress topper and cut it to fit the seat and crochet a cover for it. If you don't feel like crocheting a cover you might be able to make one out of a flat sheet and fabric glue.
Dear Dina: just wondering how you are doing...sure would love an update on your 'goings-ons' and that you are well. I'm sure you are very busy with your new life...just know that you are MISSED here on CZcams and looking forward to seeing you again here with all your wonderful crochet 'makes' and inspirations. Dina, you are an inspiration! You are making the best of a difficult situation. I love how you are making all the small spaces in your home look so cozy. Definitely make time for yourself, walking is so good for our health, both physical and mental, and I think it does the soul good too. I like what you decided on for the room better. Hope you can find a comfy little lady chair for over in the corner. I don’t brain dump but I do make lists!!! A window seat is a good idea. Hey, Dina. I've watched but haven't commented in a while. You've really done well, with a not so great situation. Good for you. It's not easy! My 21 yr old grandson likes to collect and display sneakers, in and out of boxes. And game. And we've had to make room and stuff for him, as he lives here for the past yr, with his brother (so made room for him too) while my daughter and her hubby moved to Fla. They thought it would be permanent, send for kids, and have moved back, here, this past week. Fla wasn't for them I guess. Anyway, we all make do. For now. I hope you did ok with the CRAZY storms today. Kevin works in Boston, remember? For MBTA. He said it was crazy there today! I got almost 4" in Millville, on the RI border. Lost trees,, trim off the house, my stockade fence got destroyed, and dirt driveway washed out. THANKFULLY the house didn't get hurt. Miss you, hope you're doing well when you read this. I think your place is adorable. Its small and cozy. Less space to clean is what i say lol. I thibj you could crochet a super cute large sitting pillow for the window area to save money. I love that you have transformed a collection of rooms into a beautiful home for your family. The more we learn about our brains and how they work, the more it becomes apparent that it isn't so much disorder than other order . Some of us are just wired differently. Hi Dina, life changes sure make us grow, don't they?! I'm going through a huge life adjustment myself (not where I live). Goodness, it's like being tossed into a hurricane, trying to find your footing. I've been trying to minimize and often think, it would be nice to have a smaller cozy place, less to stress about and more time for real life. Yes, brain dumping is amazing .. even if I don't get the list done, somehow it's decompressing ;) You looked so comfy knitting in your comfy chair, feet up and your loving pets surrounding you. You're so creative in adapting your space, looks great! You're going to blink and your boys will be moved out and you'll have 2 spare rooms ;) You know it lol. HI Dina, thanks for sharing with us 😊 I live with sloping roofs too - you think you have lots of space & then realise that nothing fits because of the roof🤣 I have put storage around the edges of the rooms - some I just used boards to 'build' fitted storage as I found at least with the storage under the slopes I don't keep hitting my head 🤣. Your chicken dinner sounded tasty - I often make a 'thing' for dinner😘 I like @stephgarrett-hookinhoosier suggestion of foam & staples for a seat - I did that with an old stool I had (no sew!) & it worked great. Hi Denise! Thanks. Marblehead is a pretty town. A lot of people love it especially in the summer but I myself am not a beach person so I don't take advantage of it like most. I am going to try and take advantage of how pretty it is with short walks.

Thank you! Yes I did get the job. I will be working two jobs. I started the one at the YMCA and will start the Property Manager one the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Can not remember what state in the usa you live in but i am from the uk and i thought it was really lovely seeing the outside area on your walk. Your better at diy than me. In Uk our bedrooms in our homes in general are smaller than yours and most people do not have ensuites.

I did think of that but a good futon that would not kill my back cost too much right now. It is always an option in the future.😊❤️
