How to propagate succulents when they bloom: • HOW TO DISPLAY AND PRO... - Jak na to + styl
It's amazing how you turned such a negative thing into something positive. You have a great outlook on life. I've never seen a propagation so large! Thank you for sharing your insights.
You are welcome!
Please 🙏 my phone p
Eventhough it was a loss, I'm sure she had many of the same succulent. That makes it easier too.
I totally agree on Theresa's attitude. Best way to walk through life.
Same here, but not uprooted, beautiful growing plants with the container stolen but I even planted more 😁
That's awful. Some people are just plain nasty. Hope they know how to take care of them and don't ruin them with ignorance. Happy growing new ones. Thanks for the tips.
I know! That's the first thing I have in mind when I discovered what happened.
Some people have no couth and no Morales. I am sorry that happen to you.
I don't believe they know much about succulents or the person could have asked for leaves to propagate 🤷🏽♀️
I don't know if you believe with this superstition but I do believe in this, I always ask for plants and always ask that the owner will personally take them from their mother plants and give them to me personally because I believe they have feelings too and will know if they are being stolen and will soon die in the hands of the thieves.
Yes!
I agree, I have my neighbour stole the pups of my cactus and I saw it later on. it died they had to throw it.
@@vianova8742 yes that's true, I've seen a lot of my friends just took plants without the knowing of the owners and now, I haven't seen those plants with them, they all just died. Even though those plants were so very easy to grow.
You have such a soothing voice! Thanks for helping me get into succulents! (I don’t steal mine though......)
You are welcome! 😁
OMG!!! I love what you did with your patio creating beautiful walls of succulants, just beautiful
Your succulent garden is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your tips!!
I'm so glad uou turned your loss into something to learn and share about propagating leaves accepting more water as the babies seem to accept water with elasticity.
That's so infuriating!!!! Oh to imagine my heart racing the moment I notice the plant gone! I've had mine eaten before so nothing was left but a single bare stem sticking out of the soil! I cried a little lol. I had been growing it for many years. I'm glad u were able to propagate the leaves.
I know! Some people are heartless. 😭
Eaten by what?
Omg your collection of succulents are so beautiful 😍 I just purchased my first succulents and I will try my best to take care of them. Thank you so much for the tips!
Ms. Theresa, you are so inspirational and I’m so glad to have found your channel! You have an amazing peaceful voice and explain everything very clearly. I wish you can type the names of these beautiful succulents so I can find them at stores. They have such strange names and I’m new to this but you’ve definitely captured my interest! I love succulents and I do have a variation. I love your videos and subscribed to support your channel! God bless you for sharing all of this wealth of information and thank you for teaching me to turn a negative thing into a positive. ♥️😊
Beautiful succulents I would love to have a few. Thank you for educating us how to propagate and grow them.👍👍
I allways love the colorful succulents, thank you for the tips.
Thank you!!! Your videos are super helpful.
Oh my gosh, I love this! Thanks for the info!
My mom always said that we shouldn’t get mad if people steal our plants because she believes that our garden gets more beautiful and vivid when our plants gets stolen. I now have a my own garden. I believe what my mom told me. 🥰
Thanks for sharing what your mom told you.
Is your mom a gypsy? That's so wrong to think it's okay to steal from others.
Location please? I’d love to fill up my garden to make yours more beautiful. :)
I'm very happy you were able to turn your loss into victory with new babies,, but I so disagree with the notion that you were in anyway to blame.. Someone trespassed and removed your plant. We should be free to beautify our property without fear of unethical people . I would like to think had they ask you, you would have given a leaf or two to the admirer.
She is to blame if her succulents are going missing. She should have had security measures in place, or done a better job protecting her property, which could have saved her succulents
WHAT. Aahhhhh. It sucks how people act sometimes. You shouldn’t have to be paranoid about theft. I would be tempted... _to take a photo!_ but then I saw how far your plants were set from the sidewalk and realized I wouldn’t dare step onto your property even for a picture of your lovely plants. Someone really had some gall. 😤
I had a potted arrangement stolen during the night once, and also one time happened to look out the window as a lady pushing a stroller yanked a tulip out of my garden and handed it to her baby when he cried out for it. I get that it’s a kid, but you’re also kinda teaching your kiddo to take whatever he wants without thinking about it.
Unfortunately you might want to set up a security camera. Sorry this happened to you! This is the reason we can’t have nice things. Lovely that it turned into a happy science experiment though!
True!
So far, no further stealing happened again. It's good that it turned into something positive.
You're so knowledgeable!
Those are absolutely gorgeous....breathtaking!
Thank you!
I Love your videos about succulents, thank you!
Always learn so much from your videos. Thanks so much!
You have such a beautiful garden....
Excellent video, thank you! I bought a few "Hens and Chicks" a few months ago and I've literally neglected them but they're still thriving. I put one succulent in a small ceramic pot that doesn't have a hole so the poor thing was soaked in water out in the rain.. The plant looked bad I thought it was dying but somehow it's still alive and has little chicks.. I love succulents!
Thank you, from Portugal!
Thanks a lot, loving the info you shared.
You are welcome!
I love watching your videos!! You are so inspirational! Thank you for sharing your information about “hen and chicks!”
You are very welcome! Thank you for the positive feedback!

You are welcome!
thank you for sharing your experience for propagating succulents.. i've learned a lot fr. you...
Hello! I am new to succulents, and thanks to your videos, I learned how to propagate succulents from leaves, and now they're sprouting new babies! They are so cute!
Thank you very much for the useful-educating videos! ❤❤
You are welcome!
I haven't had any plants stolen yet but a few years back someone (neighborhood kids, most likely) came up on my sidewalk, took a pair of empty small 1.5-2" pots I had sitting out for decoration, and shattered them on the road next to my driveway. One was painted with owls and the other had wavy patterns etched in it. I was less than happy.
On topic, if someone were to ask me for a cutting I'd probably be happy to provide one. But outright stealing just saddens me. At least you had a number of leaves left behind and successfully propagated most from what you showed! Succulents never cease to amaze me.
True! They are amazing plants.
lovely video with lovely guidelines...keep it up
Im so sorry for your loss and im amazed at your growing skills . thankoyu so much for sharing
You are welcome! Thank you for aporeciating!
I learn a lot from this video. Thank u so much ❤️
Wow so beautiful!
plants, especially succulents and cacti being stolen has become a common occurrence in my place.. the sudden popularity of succies have apparently brought out the worst in some people,,
It’s so beautiful wow 😊
I learn about succulents from your channel. Thank you!
You are welcome!
Your home is absolutely beautiful! I really love the wood border!! I have never seen that before down here in Louisiana!
Adding those tweezers to my wishlist. Thank you! 💕
Yay! You’ll love it!
Absolutely beautiful and strong little babies 🥰
Beautiful garden seems to be a dream
M watching ur video again today too... I love it
It’s a beautiful garden and very interesting video 👌 Thanks 🌹
Thanks for the information!😍
Wonderful tutorial. Your narration is beautiful. Thanks!
Thank you for appreciating!
This was so helpful👍🏻 I still struggle with echeveria species): That’s putting it mildly; I kill them over and over again . Somehow when I gave up , one ( in a pot arrangement of Kalanchoe hildebrandt, chocolate soldier, and sedum salsa ) was thriving: Graptoveria opalina. I’m here at this moment trying to learn what I did right for this plant. I have leaf cuttings of it that are doing well too. I suspect that the light exposure and soil mix that I used in the past were not sufficient . In the three years since I started , I have researched a lot and now buy my own substrates to make the best home for each variety of succulent I buy. I have luck thus far with all Except Echeveria /:
So thank you for this video again, it helped more than you know(:
Thank you for sharing your experience growing and propagating succulents. I'm glad this video helps.
Very interesting... There are so big!!!!
Oh my gosh I think I finally identified my new succulents I purchased recently! I was thinking it was echeveria Debbie but after 1 month since purchase it is starting to grow upwards. Such a shame people will just help themselves to other peoples property. Luckily my house in in a cul de sac so not many people walk past besides the neighbours. Thank you for the useful information about more water for leaf propagations. 🙏🏽 I have 2 trays I will try this with now. It’s end of spring here so will make sure to water more often. They are still growing fast even with 2x a week watering.
I initially thought it was a Debbie too!
Enjoy your propagation!
Oh I thought I have a Superbum 😁
Your succulent garden is very inspiring. Love😍 from India.
very well explained
I hve the pink ones that you show and they r some r fav. Very sensitive leaves but grow fairy quickly
Yours are beautiful.

Thank you for sharing.stay safe young lady.Godbless
You are welcome! Take care!
I absolutely LOVE these tweezers! You created a great product.
I use it every day! It's my treasure. When I couldn't work without it, I know it is time to share it with others.
@@ChopstickandSucculents I love your succulents! I think I saw Rhipsalis just crawling on the ground with your other succs.Thank you for sharing/showing us your garden.Absolutely beautiful!
For anyone wanting to buy these for a reasonable price and not for 20 dollars, search online, because they aren't an original product, just a rebranded pair of large industrial tweezers. Ofcourse buy the ones from chopsticks and succulents if you want to support the channel, just saying that there's an alternative that's not ridiculously overpriced
I hate that someone came and stole your plant, some people just don’t respect. I do hope your new babies get truly big. I love that purple colour 💜. I thank you for all of your great tips and also thank you for your free ebook, I am a beginner at propagating my succulents and I have not been successful so I appreciate all the tips and info you give out 💕🌱. I will also keep checking for your tweezers on Amazon as it is currently unavailable. Thank you. 😊
You are welcome!
Thank you so much !
You are welcome!
Wow! So helpful and good quality video and as a narrator you should have a tv program a at least radio station program...great job...I am a beginner in this field and love succulents thanks for your help
Would you tell us a little more about your growing wall? Did you plant directly into soil that fills the shelves? Does it cause the wood to rot because of the moisture? Or do your shelves have a screen bottom? I am running out of space and need to start going upward. Thanks for any advice you can give. I bought your 120 collection and it was a wonderful birthday present for me but I don’t want to leave the starters on the ground because I am having a hard time controlling slugs and snails. Loved every one you sent!
So beautiful your succulent ♡♡♡
Your collection is very nice 👌
I'm new in this channel, to star I will like to say I like the tone of your voice, I'm a newly with secculents. Thank you for very useful video

@@ChopstickandSucculents ! I just bought it. It will arrives tomorrow! 🥰☘️
It remain me when my nephew said, aunt we not stealing flower...we share flower🤣🤣🤣 i just laughing after that
This way is very easy and
I love plants. When I come across I really like and is in someone's yard, I simply walk up to the door and knock. They may or may not answer. But when they do. I assure them I'm not trying to sell them anything and simply compliment them on their flowers. Then I proceed to ask them if I can have a clipping and they actually give them to me and they are more than actually happy to give them to me all because I asked it's that simple just ask you will be surprised how many people will actually give them to you. This method has never failed me and usually I swapped them with something that I have and they'll take it.
So helpful...I am a beginner and I wach your videos and it make me so excited about growing my succulents. I hope someday I can be just like you, having a lot of succulents and be a succulents pro😁😎....thank you😍😍
Of course, someday, you will too! I was a complete beginner before too!
My son keeps lot of succulent in our backyard and just like yours a lot of them are stolen like echeverria cactai crassula and lithops now he keeps them most of the time in a gardening tray near the window and he's a subscriber of your channel ;-)

Graptos are my absolute favorite😃 I’ve been growing them for 20 years 😃
Great! I should learn more from you.
@@ChopstickandSucculents oh what ever. You live in succulent Paradice😃 I’m in South Texas where I have to make sure they don’t freeze in the winter. Fortunately we don’t freeze where I live every year. But you just never know. I watch the weather verry closely in the winter. This year my husband blessed me with a screened in shade house, that we have put plastic on for winter.
@@BRANDYSTOTLER there is always a way. 👌
I'm so very sorry someone took your beautiful succulents ! That is the most awful thing to do to someone, wow! On the flip side, you sure did propagate GORGEOUS babies! I'm very new to the succulent world and already in love & refuse to say how much $ I've spent in the last 10 days 🤣 let's pray they live! I did request your pdf and I look forward to reading !
I can't believe that someone was awful enough to steal someone's plant, that's super disrespectful.
Though having said that, I will admit that I'd actually kill to get such a beautiful plant! I've never seen it before, but the second you said its name, I started to google to see if I could find one online! Sadly there are none available around me, nor ship to me. Though it's definitely at the top of my wish list!
Where do you live?
@@ChopstickandSucculents I live in the Netherlands! Most shops I could find are based in the US and don't seem to ship to Europe
Thank you for your helpful videos! When growing babies from leaf cuttings, is it better to water lightly with a spray bottle or soak the soil completely? We're trying to grow them quickly to use as wedding favors.
Wow!!! Ur garden it the most beautiful I have ever seen! If I were u I would put a motion sensor camera so u can catch the thieves & still be able to do what ever u want with ur yard/garden.
hi po! am one of ur followers in fb and now here in yt❤ thank you for this vids. and tips🙏🌱🎋
