Join me for a bike ride through Livingston on the traffic-free shared-use path network.
When I launched this channel my aim was to highlight Livingston's extensive network of paths that enables active travel around the town, almost entirely free of interaction with motor traffic.
It becomes difficult to avoid repetition and I've since expanded that remit to include traffic-free shared-use infrastructure throughout West Lothian and beyond.
This is the first of a new series (perhaps!) of rides that return to Livi's path network, where I try to show how the individual paths connect together. Enjoy!

Good to see you showcasing the traffic free shared-use path network... Living here in the South of England it is always interesting to see what setup other area's of the UK have for cyclist.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for your comment. We are very fortunate here in Livingston to have such an extensive network, almost entirely thanks to the town planners sixty years ago when Livingston New Town was laid out.
Sorry to see your hip replacement has been postponed. Stay positive!
