How Phra Rahu Works In the Spiritual Dimension:
Phra Rahu has the potential to be a forceful and powerful destiny changer. The tremendous energy of a well-consecrated Phra Rahu can cause a significant shift in spiritual perception. Phra Rahu may produce both negative and positive events in one's destiny. To put it another way, in order for an extraordinarily good destiny to appear, an extreme negative destiny must first be experienced, for which the universe and all realities manifest according to the rule of dualism. Phra Rahu may first advance one's negative karma in a strong and significant way, pushing one's spiritual consciousness to a high limit or sometimes even beyond one's threshold. This is to exhaust and "drain out" all past negative karma, bringing the negative thoughts and past karma to our conscious level so that we could transcend them consciously and with awareness. And then finally, all that's left behind would be the positive ones and together with a heightened and raised spiritual awareness.
So, rather than dragging through many years of our accumulated negative karma, Phra Rahu would advance and work fast in order to experience and generate more possibilities to transcend our past negative karma in a shorter period of time. Every new moon, full moon, eclipse, equinox, and solstice, the Phra Rahu spirit manifests past accumulated karma in our lives.
One has to be open-hearted and be spiritually ready to accept those lessons that will be manifested by this magnificent energy of Phra Rahu. The "lessons" are not be perceived as punishments, rather it is for the betterment of ourselves spiritually. And those "lessons" were our own accumulated negative karma that was unconscious to ourselves.
Some individuals who have a Phra Rahu at home may notice a strong energy change, and may also experience more negative events than usual at the beginning. Depending on PAST and ONGOING accumulated karma. When the positive karma is more than the negative ones, the positive karma would start manifesting during every full moon and new moon.
So, whatever events that seem negative should be treated light-heartedly, simply be watchful of the events, and always understand that any anger, hatred, resentments or grudges are futile. The awareness will free us from the past karma instantly.
Enemies may fear or enemies may become supporters and in turn, assist you in unexpected ways. People who hate us may turn into lovers and offer help in various ways. Phra Rahu could turn things from black to white in the most unexpected ways when we accept the lessons manifested by it. Wealth will also increase and more opportunities will come. People who are devoted to Phra Rahu often eventually achieve extremely good wealth, and heightened spirituality.
It will look terribly bad or negative at the surface, but the positive will be equally overwhelming once we learn to "go with the flow". Allow and accept whatever happens, simply watch them and welcome them.
Never fear the darkness, as the same amount of darkness always exists together with an equal amount of light. If we want light, we have to understand and accept the darkness. They are lovers in spiritual, they can never be parted.
People who are most suitable to have Phra Rahu.
1. People who seek spiritual enlightenment
2. People who do not bear grudges or hatred for all negative past events or experiences.
3. People who regularly build good merits. (Merits means sharing one's joy, giving money to the less fortunate, giving emotional support to others etc.)
You may use the mantra in this video to pray to Phra Rahu on every Wednesday, new moon, and full moon day. Light 2 candles offer some flowers, and water and you may also place 1x hard-boiled egg as an offering on every full moon. You may eat the egg after the prayers.
You may listen to this Phra Rahu Katha to sleep to stay aligned with its energy. Certain lessons or spiritual guidance may be presented in dreams too.

every energy is vibration. And every syllable of a mantra vibrates differently through our ears. All of our cells and organs will participate into listening to the mantra. The key is not to seek meaning in the mantra, it is to feel the mantra, and the subtle changes. You may notice lower and deeper sounds vibrate at the lower chakra regions, and high pitch sounds will vibrate at higher region around the head. Mantra will direct energy from the lower to the upper region, in circles. Take more awareness to feel it. Healing happens when the energy flows from lower to upper. And through meditation, we can consciously move the energy. Most people could easily feel the energy accumulated in the lower stomach or navel region. Especially when stressful, fearful or angry. We could move those energy upwards to the heart area through meditation, and the energy will become spiritual.
