  • This is like a watch-me-work video, but it got a little dramatic at the end. Surely when we make room to study the Word, these types of intimate, personal revelations are possible... and precious.
Hebrew is the Lord's language so my desire is to know more about the language to have a deeper understanding.
When I made attempts to understand more Hebrew I found there are many different flavors of how to spell, pronounce and write Hebrew words and letters so I created a "standard" aleph bet sound and value cheat sheet so I could always make the same references.
For example there are are at least 3 ways to write "hay"
    - hay
    - hey
    - hei
    - he
I choose to stick to "hay" because that letter looks so much like "tav" with the difference being there is a gap between the last stroke of the letter and the first stroke. I imagined a barn with a window at the loft to throw "hay" to horses. I KNOW!!! Silly... but that's how I remember it. :-)
DM me on Instagram or Facebook for a copy of the cheat sheet.
This is an emotional discovery that when God called the night day in Genesis 1:5 the Hebrew word for "called" is the same Hebrew word for "read"
I am encouraged more than ever to #readtheword
The second part of the video is called "A Weird Way To Learn The Books Of The Bible" It is a work-with-me session that removes the distractions of the Microsoft Edge news and information start tab.
