I was pure lucky I found mine in the garbage in good condition no rips in the subwoofer I plugged it in and it works fine it's 2023 and I'm Still rocking this woofer and I found it 18 years ago
Great find. Never sleep on the Goodwill. I picked up the Sony SA-W2500 10" Powered Subwoofer for $10.75 in Columbia SC about two years ago. I was just as shocked as you were with your find. The SA-W2500 sounds great with my SA-WM500. All bass no trouble at all lol.
The SA-WM40 is a 12 inch and the CS9 is a 10 inch. The SA-WM40 is louder and hits lower notes. Their power level is similar: SA-WM40 at 120 W and CS9 at 115 W
I found one outside the cabinet Is in horrible condition and is rotted and the amp doesn't work anymore so I wired the sub into my sound bar sub box and it sounds pretty good Im gonna get a better system for it
I had that one but something happened to the amplifier it's sad it was awesome but now I have two Sony 10s sa-2500 i still use yhe 12 with another smaller amp from a polk audio that speaker was dead the goodwill app can be good moat of the time but you can get duddes
Can you do a video of hooking this subwoofer to say 2022 smart Samsung TV which has no RCA just HDMI or USB I have a couple converters I'm looking into
Hello, I do not own any smart TV but there definitely might be a USB to RCA converter adapter that works, Im not sure though. Maybe a HDMI cable from TV going into a receiver (one that has HDMI input instead of RCA only) and then out to the subwoofer via either speaker cable, RCA, or just maybe HDMI out to RCA??

I found my wm500 at goodwill for 25 bucks and I love it!
Wow. Nice sub. How can you compare it to the SA-CS9?
