Tiger V/s Buffalo || Rare Scenes|| दुर्लभ दृश्य

This sighting in itself is a beautiful story. We were into our second safari in Sariska tiger reserve, situated in Rajasthan, India.
Our safari was completely dry and no signs were there of the big cat. We were loosing hope and thought that luck was not in our favour unless we crossed the main road and saw one pug mark which was not there when we had crossed the same track earlier. We knew that the tiger had crossed the track and decided to wait at that place hoping to sight the tiger.
We kept on waiting and waited for almost 40-45 minutes at the same place and were again losing the hope. Our safari time was also about to get over and we were into last couple of minutes when our guide, Shyam bhai wispered, Tiger !! Tigerr agya road par..
We were thrilled to see the glimpse of the big cat but the sighting lasted only for a few seconds and the tiger disappeared in to the bushes. This sighting made us more desperate and we decided to take another chance in the unplanned evening safari
Someone rightly said, that sometimes unplanned things creates magical moments and this safari was truly magical
It was one of our most memorable safari. 30 minutes in to the drive and bang!! we sighted this big and bold male tiger and the rest was history. We crossed the paths multiple times and the majestic cat walked straight towards us head onnn for almost a kilometer . During this encounter, the tiger was walking on the road doing scent marking when Shyam bhai saw a buffalo crossing our gyspy and asked us to stay quiet as high probability was there that we could have witnessed a kill which indeed could have been a magical moment.
The tiger and buffalo stared at each other for quite some time and then the tiger played the trick of ambush hunting. It straight away went inside the bushes making way for the buffalo and waited for its reaction. The buffalo took a few cautious steps and slowly moved in the bushes on the other side. A few seconds later, tiger came out again and gave a charge on the buffalo but the drama unfolded inside the bushes and we were only able to hear the grunt .
As we approached nearer to the spot, we saw that the buffalo sprinted out of the bushes and the tiger stayed back . It was a missed attempt but none the less, one of the rare encounters we could have expected to happen making it a memorable sight.
