Ebay has ruined car boot sales, so hard to find a bargain now as most people use ebay as a price checker.

ebay hasnt ruined anything the resellers have, the whole meaning of carboot has disappeared and people cant get cheap things which they need and cant afford at normal price..

09:56 mins in at the Fila seller’s stall there looks like a Dualit four slice toaster by your feet. They go for £70-120 once cleaned. Spare parts are easily available too.

My unbranded off road style car mats (deeper like the jeep ones to catch mud and water) cost me £45 and that was a few years ago now.
Oh wow! Yeah I’ve found one similar listing sell for £90 and can also confirm that they are genuine after some research! So hopefully some decent profit 😊

I hate when the battery dies, I had an older model GoPro and they lasted about 45 mins each so invested in a new one solely to get better batteries 😂 lovely pick ups too!🔥
Haha yeah it’s the one down side to GoPro’s! Bought some new cheap ones today so hopefully arrive in time for the next boot sale.

It’s quite simple really, we do car boots and when setting up just tell the hawkers and trade dippers to come back when we’re finished setting up, no pre public sells and know the value of what you’re selling, keep the money in your pocket not the hawkers

I deffo need to start expanding my stock, I have 90% gaming stuff and it's difficult at times as my local car boots open at set times people practically sprint around looking for games.

Yeah gaming bits are so hard to come buy in high quantities, best to just expand and sell everything.
It’s hard but you just need to learn what bulky things sell for a decent chunk, I walk past so many air fryers/bread makers, all that stuff, because it’s just not worth the time to test/list if only selling for £20. So yeah just gotta keep learning 👍🏼

Went to my local car booty a couple of weeks ago and 60-70% of the seller were tool sellers (id imagine most likely stolen as they all had multiple of the same tools mutliple times
What bootsales do you go to? I only ever seem to make it to gosport, Brigdmary school one every now and then
I pop to Bridgemary every now & then, main summer ones are Bordon and this one (A3 NutHill).

I’d personally always buy second hand GoPros! I’ve got an 8 and 7 black edition and they’re wicked and do the job with good video quality.

Hi, I use a Hero 11, bought it new as GoPro we’re doing a good deal at the time. But no harm in buying pre-owned, they’re very sturdy cameras, so don’t see an issue. Thanks for watching 😊

I can understand the eBay idea of the price checker. However, if they'd want to pay those prices, they would've bought of eBay in the first place. Use it as a guide, not as an exact.

Nice one on the Nutri-Bullet, I wasn’t sure what series it was you picked up. But always be careful with the older 900 Watt series, it was recalled a few years ago due to motor overheating and bearing oil leaking into the containers 🫡
Oh that’s good to know! Sold a fair few of these including the 900W, this one is a 600W so hopefully no oily smoothies.
