Yo. What up, Candy Crushers? Have you guys had cosmetic changes to the wrapped candies? A week or 2 ago in my version, they changed sound effects and images for wrapped bombs waiting to go off again. The bomb sound is louder and sharper than it used to be. Kind of like a firecracker. The waiting wrapped candies used to flash before they went off for the 2nd time. Now they vibrate instead. Did you guys have that change? Do people like it or dislike it? I think I like it slightly better the new way, but it hardly makes any difference, so I'm not sure if they should have bothered.
If mine have changed, I’m not very likely to notice. I never have the audio ad. And I’ve lived through so many iterations of the various elements, I kind of just ignore the things I’m used to seeing.
Here are my options for the last row of the gold chocolate box: win 6 games on first try (extremely unlikely); win 6 games (still hard to do in 1 day, since some games take me 50 or more plays); use 1 pinata (hah!); use 4 UFOs (are they kidding????). I've gone with win 6 games; will try going back to a lower level if I cannot win outright - have won 2 already, but have to finish this today. I'm at level 4981, so it's a bit of a chore going back to level 1000.
Ah - I went back and re-won level 3690, but it didn't count against my win 6 games. So I guess I'll have to win 6 consecutive games at the level I'm at
Really a lousy choice. I do think King designs these booster giveaway events specifically to get us to use more boosters than we earn. Which I won't. Only pursue the events that make it worth your while.
Actually I won 6 games and collected the gold box prizes! I have gotten better at not squandering my boosters trying to win ... in some games they don’t seem to help much

It worked! You're now an imgur expert! I've never seen this, so it's time to theorize. The dots definitely represent levels on the map screen. So I think it's a good presumption that we need to clear levels. But what of the connection? My best theory is: you need to clear 3 consecutive levels, and you need to do that 4 times, since it shows 0/4. Here are the questions I would have and experiment with: 1. Do they need to be new levels, or can we use old? Hopefully, like most chocolate box requirements, we can use old. That means playing the first 12 levels might get this done for you. 2. Do you have to beat them all on the first try? ...Oh! I just came up with a different theory that would make this easier. Maybe the 3 dots are just a visual representation that you have to beat consecutive levels, and the 0/4 means you have to beat 4 consecutive levels. That would be much easier/quicker than my first theory. I wish I had definitive answers for you. Or at least the same situation so I could play around and learn. But hopefully I've given you some ideas to try out. Actually, unless you really like to experiment, my advice would be to choose a different chocolate! I like to go for the color or special collecting options, personally.
That just means you have to win new levels. Ignore the graphic, which shows three levels all connected. Instead, look for the comparative numbers. For example, if you can find something that says 0/4, it means you have not finished any of the 4 levels required. And if you select that chocolate from the box and beat a new level, it should then show 1/4 when you look at the box, again.
Okay here goes…my thoughts are I want the old chocolate box. When you get to the silver box there is one candy collection that only has either use 3 ufos (not a chance!) the big party smasher thingy (don’t have one atm, btw takes 69 gold bars to buy one so why one would use that is just crazy 😜) the other two were win 4 crowns (not easy really a crap shoot) or those pink connected dots and not sure what that’s all about 🙄) so I chanced with the gold crowns and got it but holy Hanna not a fan and I won a grand total of 30 minutes unlimited lives and 15 min color bombs 🥳🥳🥳😂 whoo hoo! The final box was similar but seemed easier stuff with a bit better rewards. The first box was actually the best 2 cb and 2 lolly. So here’s the thing I wanted to opt out back to original and it said just to let the 2 days run out without participating and you will get it back. I did and did my usual thing and when I won my normal boosters the next morning it went back to the silver level 😣 so by my calculations (not great at math but) I guesstimate if I do this every time I will be getting my rewards every 4 or 6 days? So am trying an experiment get the first 2cb and 2 lolly and then let time expire go back to old box get the usual there and then at least every 4 days?? Maybe?? I am at least getting something without having to grimace over the impossible candy requirement for the silver level. Sorry this was so long but you did ask for thoughts and I had a few 🤣🤣

I’ve also got the deluxe choc box. Does anyone know what those round pink things are , seems to be three of them connected, snd it appears you will win them when you complete a level. I’ve looked to see if I could find out what those pink things ate. They are not the twirling spaceships or coconut wheels.

Please can you tell me how to get back the OLD chocolate box! This 'deluxe' chocolate box is absolutely hideous. Having to get 6 crowns in two days? What a joke. I'm lucky if I can get 1 crown in a week. I can only get the 6 by spending out dozens of boosters. With the old chocolate box I could at least be confident of GETTING a colour bomb, a striped and wrapped and best of all a lolly hammer every single day. Now all I can do is SPEND OUT boosters in a futile attempt to get 6 crowns. And for what? One hour of lives? Who cares! Basically they just took away my one means of ever getting any free boosters. I'm especially missing that lolly hammer every day. Now I'm spending out lolly hammers like crazy to try to achieve their ridiculous goals. This game just keeps getting worse.
I believe you can opt out of the deluxe chocolate box. I'm pretty sure that when the Deluxe box first appeared, the instructions mentioned that if you click "Give Up", it will give you back the regular chocolate box.
Do you use old levels to help you with the chocolate box? If or when I'm having trouble finishing the box (or if I'm low on lives), I'll go back to easy levels to finish the chocolates. Levels 1000 and 1476 are the ones I always go to.
I'm sorry you're struggling with the new box. I like UTU49's information and suggestions. Now, I did NOT see an opt out feature...however, I could have missed that. Quick question, Qrushers: Anyone know a good level for racking up 180 Licorice? There must be a couple of levels where you could easily get 180 licorice in one or two plays.
Level 10,264. Oh...that doesn't work for you? ;) 1375 is easy and should give you 75 licorice. You can probably get more from 1264, which starts with 50some licorice and has licorice dispensers...IF you can reliably beat it.
1771 has 11 fish. It worked fine. It's a moderately difficult level, but you don't need to complete the level to get credit for Chocolate Box items. Yay!
I'm glad you got a good one! Also, when you ask for help like this from other players, you may want to mention what level you're on. You don't want some smart a...lec giving you a suggestion for a level in the 10k region. ;)

I gave you the information of when I can redo levels, and what information I need... There are three different reasons I know for your board being different to mine: 1. King often changes the boards. I have some levels I've had to record half a dozen times. They change too many levels too often for me to keep up with all of them. Sometimes the changes are purely evil, like just reducing the number of moves. (Although sometimes if you lose the level enough, the old number of moves will magically appear!) And sometimes there are beneficial changes, like they take away moves but also reduce the number of different colors on the board from 5 to 4--making it easier to create specials and combos. But if the changes ever have you really stuck and my current talkthrough doesn't show a strategy that can get the job done, please let me know what your new requirements are (e.g., number of moves, mission) and I can take a look. Although sometimes I cannot help because some differences are caused by... 2. King sometimes has different levels based on the device/browser you use or the location where you play. They have different development teams working on the different platforms. I play on a pc, usually through fb and sometimes through the win10 app. If you play on a mobile device, yours might look/behave differently. So if you have the chance to try on a different device/browser, you might get a different opportunity. And... 3. Sometimes there is a glitch. If your level looks absolutely nothing like mine, it could be you have fallen victim to the random reshuffle. In the past, this glitch has usually resolved itself within a couple days.
