Hey guys sorry for the long gap in videos but here's something to get you by haha! Simple, easy and cheap way to inject co2 into your planted aquarium! www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q9YC25Y/...
Seems a lot better than using vinegar and baking soda. For plants its fine if you can get past the smell but I don't think it would be healthy to use in an aquarium
I have a crystallized buildup inside my Co2 generator. I’ve tried boiling water but it does very little to dissolve it. Do you know how to dissolve the crystallized buildup?
Not sure honestly. It does have some type of little spheres in the filter that will absorb moisture and need to dry out to shrink back down. You may be able to find a replacement on Amazon. Sorry I don't have more info
I wouldn’t recommend it due to the fact that it isn’t rated for it. The filter inside the tank is only made for a certain mixture. Also I’m unsure of the psi created by yeast and sugar
Thanks for this! I’m about to set mine up.
Thanks for this. Setup looks exactly like my China CO2 generator. Very useful
Good walk through. Thumbs up!
gonna try this one out fs, was thinking of doing a diy setup but i dont really wanna risk bottles exploding. especially when my dog is home alone
Use ice instead of liquid water; easier and the reaction doesn't start until after you get the reactor closed up and ready.
Smart
does it matter how much dry ice you use? or like how much do you put in there?
@@isbiome not dry ice. Just replace the grams of water with equal grams of crushed ice.
Thks For Sharing!
Great, and for those without a scale, 7 oz of citric acid and 7 oz of baking soda along with 300 ml of water will do pretty close.
at what point do you know to refill the tank with citric acid + baking soda? And if you do refill it, do you just simply untighten the cap off?
I got 1 like that one ,it gotta problem now ,and I don’t what can I do for this doesn’t bubble
Can I use 1 CO2 tank then supply to multiple aquariums by using distributor for the outlet CO2 gas.

👍🔥💯
Any update for us?
How do you clean the hardened baking soda in the tank??
Just hot water, also replacing the mixture as soon as there is no more co2 left will help. The longer its sits the harder it will become!

Try vinegar it may react to the crystals and dissolve them
Does the filter in the regulator need to be replaced? If so where do I go about buying one?

when do i add the borax
Borax?
Only required when installing it on mother in law's tank.
How many weeks til out
Honestly it depends on how many bubbles per second you are using. At 1-1.5 bubbles per second I usually get 3-4 weeks of co2
@@everythingaquarium Thanx
@@everythingaquarium Is that 3-4 weeks with or without using the electric shutoff switch?
@@CoroaEntertainment That with the electric solenoid on a timer
Can you list the measurements in the description or comments?
200 Grams citric acid + 200 Grams baking soda + 300 mL H2O
Thanks! When it comes to ML, that's easy, but converting over to weight I always go awry. @@everythingaquarium
Well, I'll be damned... I have that same scale and never realized it does fluid measurements as well.
What is the tank size?
i think 2liters
Can I use yeast + sugar + water in this generator?

@@everythingaquarium hmmm yeast has lower preasure than citric acid. We can use in bottle of water and it use mild reaction🤔
@@Darek_WRK I try to follow manufacturer guidelines as strictly as possible. So me personally I wouldn’t do it.
