When I started high school back in the day, around ratchel’s age, everyone’s uniforms were too big! You had to go into the uniform shop to order yr tie and high school blazer and badge, skirts trousers specific gym outfit and plimsolls etc🙄back then it was 20/30 pounds for a good school blazer, a lot of money 40yrs ago! No supermarket school uniforms then🙄and I remember collecting it trying it on and the assistant saying to mum hem the cuffs and it’ll do her until 3/4th year lol the majority were walking about looking like kids in adult clothes😂worse for boys starting high school because they are always smaller than the girls starting high school back then💙🏴
