The "get filled up with diesel" is an other sweeper. In 9:05 you can see another sweeper (right, diesel) and the fully electric sweeper (left). I guess.

Page 3:30 each cities have outlet ports by the main river. Just build a plastic waste filter on each outlet port to stop waste before spreading all over the river also stop further down stream into the ocean. This is a recent idea.

where i am it's not the engine of a street cleaner that wakes me up. itxs the cleaning mechanisms as somehow the engine is made quite quiet compared to the loud noise of the cleaning equipment

@@Zob3k technically battery mode is 100% electric, as for 0 emissions crap everything produces emissions even electric only vehicles look at the charging points for example

3:53 If it was solar powered, why that much lighting then? Doesnt the raft have sensors that see plastic even without light? And for other traffic on the river, normal positioning light would do the job too.
I dont see any big batteries nor solar panels able to provide that much power needed by the computers and many Motors that this thing is.

Geez, I already have a problem with the first machine shown in this video.
It might be needed on airport runways because the rubber left on the runway could clog the little channels in the runway that the rain runs into (this keeps the runway usually safe to use when it's raining).
However, anyone who knows much about auto racing knows that you WANT the rubber on a racetrack surface, because it increases grip, meaning you can run harder tires to get the same amount of traction and therefore run more laps at the same speed, or alternatively go faster around a corner or accelerate/brake more rapidly with the same tires. And this advantage applies to all vehicles using the track equally, so long as they stick to the "groove" of deposited rubber that develops.
What I'm trying to say is that removing the rubber from a racetrack, even/especially a drag strip, makes the races that take place on it less fun to watch and there will be more accidents due to things like locked up brakes and unintended power-slides and under-steer from going too fast into a turn.
Here I was thinking that racing was about going fast to the exclusion of almost everything else, perhaps with the exceptions of safety and an even playing field.
Then again it's becoming more and more obvious that despite the best efforts of the regulatory agencies, F1 is just a big scam. It's not even fun to watch anymore because any time someone makes an innovation that makes the cars faster it's immediately declared "illegal" by the teams that don't have enough money to keep up, even if the team that develops it is willing to share it. It's a fact that F1 cars 10 and 20 years ago were faster than F1 cars today.
So is it a 004 because it says 002 on the side.

It is as long as it's dry. The moment it starts raining, you have a smooth surface covered with a thin layer of water, which is bad for braking.
