NGL, the casual FaB scene is the best! I head up the Clash Committee (the format made by Ethan) and have had an absolute blast in running the Clash Bash league. I started playing UPF with the table pit and its been an absolute blast as well! I've had so much fun with everyone involved and we all just want to have fun and good time and play fun stuff.
I really want to push Commoner more in our community as an easier gateway for new players, and to utilize cards that don't see play in CC. But I feel it should also allow Rare cards in the deck. They aren't expensive or hard to find, and would open up a lot more identity to a number of heroes.
Bittering thorns RED is my card to cut in commoner. But the kodas being limited to not ira would be cool. She might be able to use Zen's weapon well now too though?
We need to have LSS come out with their blitz gameplan and when we are gonna get a blitz proquest season, pro tour and have it reincorporated into worlds. CC breeds poor play patterns. Blitz is the true format.
Twitter or X is not a legitimate way to engage or judge the flesh and blood community. X is a battlefield and not meant for constrictive discussion. Discords are a better show of the way the flesh and blood community comes together to discuss and enjoy the game. Just finding your podcast today and I have listened to 3 episodes now and I think you would benefit from a x detox. Just forget about it and don't talk about it on your podcast. So many other amazing aspects of this community that you lose if you only focus on the discourse on Twitter. I appreciate this content and just wanted to share my thoughts. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to the next cast.
In the current state of flesh and blood, I honestly find it difficult to believe that there is much of a casual segment of players. Even casual players seem to prefer CC, and if you are starting as a new player at an armory and they play CC, you can bet they're a more established player base that is more highly competitive. LSS should re-strategize these formats and how they approach what casual play is supposed to mean and look like.
What's the BEST take you've ever heard regarding Flesh and Blood?
Thanks for having me on, and for the great conversation. Thank you & Go Commando!
this made me interested to check out commoner, thanks!

I think the best take is that the game is growing at a pace faster than it can handle right now. We are having some growing pains with some aspects

Great video. Hard to hear some of this conversation knowing outcomes of future events.☹️
