- Hey there! Today we’re going vintage thrifting at Goodwill and Salvation Army. There was A LOT of affordable and vintage kitchenware + home decor. I went Friday evening so the shelves were fully stocked in preparation for the weekend (new trick I learned!). I hope you enjoy thrifting with me!

LOVED THE BROWN ZEBRA PLANTER!!!🦓
Strawberry Teapot!!
I saw candle holders with leaves. I am looking for the same thing with fish I saw once.
The CorningWare ❤
Wish we had a thrift store this good!
I love the McCoy dishes! They would have definitely come home with me. 😊
Wow, I love that strawberry teapot

Really enjoyed your video and how you post on the screen info & price of the items.
Good info. Thanks!
Oh my god my mouth actually dropped seeing that strawberry tea pot
Same!!! I never seen one so cute! It made me want to live in a whimsical and enchanted forest 😂
This video was so fun to watch from beginning to end😊💜 can’t wait to see more of your trips
The piggy bank looks like something made by an artist I can’t place but a possible good piece. I love it!
I really love coming across those unique studio pieces. It had some good weight to it too!
2:08 your Goodwill looks nice.
Great channel. 😊
I loved the pottery with the blue glaze! I found one of the Corning Ware blue flower percolators in our local thrift store earlier this year! I was very excited!
I loved the enamel pots!!
I liked the strawberry teapot. So country kitchen.
Definitely love the Corning ware item. I have one or two pieces left from my mother's collection and always love to see the Cornflower design.
That's awesome! They're so timeless! ❤️
I liked the giraffe plant holder - styled up with a small pathos plant 🌿 🦒
That would be so cute!!!
New here too, loved your video! Strawberry teapot was a favorite, but there was others also.
I just found your channel and enjoyed it very much. You asked about cake pedestals, Fenton makes beautiful cake pedestals. They are however quite pricey
I just looked them up and omg, they're gorgeous! I am OBSESSED with the Opalescent Hobnail ones 😍 They're exactly the kind of pedestals I'm looking for but yess, I will definitely bee needing to save up for one!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it. 😄 Thank you so much and for your recommendation.
Another new subscriber here 😊 As you explained your journey from consumerism to minimalism to mindful vintage thrifter I subscribed immediately ❤ greetings from germany
New subscriber here. I enjoyed your vid.
That cake plate pedestal was that a Spode? That is one to pick up…you have a nice Goodwill…The Port Marion is a big seller…soooo much would have come home with me…💕💕💕
It was and so pretty...I loved the gold detail on it! I will be on the lookout from now on! 😍
It's been pretty fun because all of this is relatively new to me so with each store, video, and getting to chat with everyone...I've been learning so much and am learning what to keep an eye out for. ❤️
Hello, New subbie here as a reseller I would have snag that strawberry Teapot!! Really enjoyed watching!
I have heard more people saying that Goodwill has marked their items up too much. I have found this in my area to be true. I go to DAV and Salvation Army.
Here we have only goodwill and value village, value village is expensive! Also I literally have to touch everything to! 😂
Strawberry teapot and corn flakes bowls. I like whimsical colorful items. Love the name of your channel. Just subscribed
Yesss! They're so lively! I find items like those are refreshing and a reminder to relax and have fun! Thank you for your kinds words and thanks for subbing. ❤️
We have same issue lol
I too love the look of enamelwear cookwear however i did thrift a darling strawberry set and it really wasnt the greatest to cook with so i ended up redonating it.
Omg, that must've hurt to do! 😭 I've been thinking of ways one could use them outside of cooking. I'm thinking maybe as planter?
I had a set of corning ware 3pc. It 2 was the blue and white. I just never really used them like I thought should be used. Thrifting at Goodwill here in Texas. Especially in Fort Worth, is extremely expensive. The pickers buy everything and sell to make money. Which I understand. But with everything already high. It drives their prices up...🤑
I feel that! I told myself that I better use it instead of having it there looking pretty but I'm going to wait for winter to come to use the oven (it's been about 100° F these past days 🥵).
Goodwill is absurd sometimes! I often see items originally from Dollar Tree or Walmart (with the tag on it!) and they'll have it marked up anywhere from $2-$5! I think it's a company wide thing but I've found some locations that are priced more appropriately but they're hard to come by.
Hi Im new to your channel.❤
Hello and welcome! 👋🏾 I'm glad to have you here!
I like what you pick up bit I am a collector and do not resell anything. I mostly collect vintage 40 years or older and antiques. I do like unusual glassware however and International pieces.
Thank you! What do you like to collect the most and do you have a decade that is your favorite? 🤗
I haven't come across too many unusual glass pieces yet but have some international pieces! My favorites that I have so far are: an Iranian painting in a khatam frame (circa 1930s) and a Bulgarian pyrographic keepsake box (1970s). I got them for $8 total at Salvation Army and they're so gorgeous 😍
@@beautyofyesterday I would like what you found. I have 1930 Depression cups and saucers all colors too, jewelry, glassware vases, candlesticks, vases, pottery and my vintage and antique ornament collection and more. Everything has its place. I have International too. I collect from 1980 down but I like the 50's and down the most.
who wants to watch someone saying they only bought one item and who has no real knowledge of pottery, crystal, silver this was a waste of time , so no more clicks from real people who love and appreciate the hunt and purchase of antiques and decor
