I can't recall any artist or singer who can cover this in live performance better than Putri, now adays. Simon Cowell is right she is like a lil diamond that would appear once in 100 years.

@BangkokVoiceCoach great point. I think you said before she is classic pop. And I saw a documentary wen she was very young. Her dad would take her out to car and listen to old cassettes. Of whitney ,Mariah, Celine dion. And any arrangement by David foster. So her foundation in music and style is greatly influenced by classic pop. Definitely

I don't know if there is any better singer alive now than Putri Ariani. All well and good if you sound fantastic, recorded on a cd or some such media; but to sound that excellent live is an infinitely greater challenge and achievement all together. Not even Biancae or Ariana Grande or any of the so-called existing pop divas can do what Putri does on stage without any form of movement, be they exaggerated, even amorous sometimes. What a gifted angel. She makes me proud because she has brought so much dignity to people like myself, because you see, like her, I am also a blind musician and singer. But I'm nowhere close to her level, and that goes without saying. You are the best, Putri.
We call it Putri Ariani level, where you can sing it more beautiful in live performances.
I'm so glad to hear other people say wat I been saying for a while now !!!! She is without a doubt the greatest female vocalist alive today. It's her totality of God given talent ,work ethic, skills and techniques. And yes. Phenomenal live vocals.
