The story behind the struggle of Dutch Olympic gymnast Bart Deurloo.
Bart is known as a huge talent in the Netherlands and everyone expected him to win medals and deliver at every single competition. But it didn’t happen. Bart faced a lot of injuries and he kept making excuses. He had to deal with a lot of pressure. It’s been a tough road for Bart, but he learned a lot from it an is on top of his mental game right now.
'The Hard Way To Success' shows the road to success of different athletes. The series brings special stories of athletes and displays the athlete as a hero, despite possible setbacks in his or her career.

I love love love those short documentaries. Gives just a nice insight in the sport and a nice portrait of the people and how different they all are, even though it seems they are all doing the same thing from outside. Bart seems such a nice and funny guy and I wish him all the success he deserves.

Natuurlijk is het ook geluk hebben. Maar als ik je zie turnen oogt het toch ook als een gift van mother nature, je talent. Misschien ben je een beetje te bescheiden.
Presteren hoeft ook niet altijd… dat je soms verliest hoort erbij 👍😄 mooi dat je dat ziet; minder druk.
De juiste mentale en fysieke ☯️is gewoon zeldzaam en dus… heel veel succes maar vooral heel veel plezier 💪👐👍🤲🙌😃🎉en relax 🐌
