People swear that Sasuke had plot armor in this fight because *There's no way he could have reverse summoned himself in time* when we're not only shown in this fight and throughout the series that it takes like zero time for an animal to be summoned but also that Deidara spends like three or four pages just explaining to Sasuke how he's going to blow himself up. Like Deidara even tells Tobi that he thinks his explosion is going to kill him even if he runs away. Tobi. *The guy who can phase through attacks.* Like your going to tell me that Sasuke, the guy who could move at the speed of sound during the CHUNIN EXAMS couldn't think of ANYTHING to do against Deidara's explosion that he announced was going to happen and took a long ass time to charge up?
@@xvingar6318 Exactly! In fact now that I think about it Sasuke was able to summon shuriken to throw at Itachi during their "Shuriken Battle" in the middle of their fight. Itachi is fast enough to summon his Susanno to block a *Kirin* so we know that he's no slowpoke meaning Sasuke had to be at least a little bit fast to keep up with Itachi even though he was holding back.
Another great speed moment is when he not only got inbetween Suigetsu and Jugo a second before they hit each other, but summoned two giant snakes which completely wrapped around them (chapter 351, pages 11-12).
Not to mention Sasuke held back during the whole fight because he wanted intel about Itachi. He could've easily killed him with any chidori variant instead of punching him since Deidara was completely caught off guard.

Deidara claiming Sasuke is out of chakra and people taking it as fact is something I notice that happens a lot in any show/book/manga especially when it comes to power scaling. Characters are fallible and can be wrong about things but a lot of the time people tend to take everything they say as fact unless told by another character that the first is just wrong.

But tired doesn't mean no power left. When he fought itachi, it was stated on panel he actually ran out of chakra and we saw that be confirmed by orochimaru getting out as a result. Deidara claiming it on one panel while Sasuke still has his sharingan on(using chakra) means almost nothing
You know what's funny? Sasuke could've just summon any giant snake and blow up the entire minefield at once by sacrificing it. "B-b-but he had Sharingan and Lightning Style, way too perfect counter" Then why dude who TAUGHT him lightning style who has BETTER SHARINGAN couldn't do nearly as well? Sure, Deidara didn't want to fight him but Sasuke also had to think of a way to beat the distance gap against flying opponent. And Sasuke quickly convinced Deidara that C1 is a joke to him (reminder that the fight scene with regenerating C1s is anime only). Meanwhile Kakashi had to actually try against that, while Deidara was exhausted after 3 days and short on ammo. But you know what's sad? That most of this community doesn't even understand what plot armor even means so they won't be convinced. Plot armor to them is as fluid and convenient as equality for buzzfead feminists.

You might just as well cry that pokemon types makes no sense. 2. What complex chakra networks? It just sees chakra. C4 filled air with chakra. Any dojutsu should be able to see that much, even Rinnegan. In addition to that, Sasuke just outrun the thing and THEN realized what's going on. Even without Sharingan, the only way C4 would get him was to feel safe right after the explosion got off and come back right away into it's range. The reality is that C4 Karura is simply too slow. 3. While I agree that Deidara is smart (has arguably better raw combat intelligence feats than Itachi), training against the thing that humiliated you isn't a sign of it. Anyone not doing that would have to be stupid. 4. There wasn't any speed of light. And if you don't see how Deidara's ambush at start of the fight is faster than C0, then I don't know what to tell you. Buy yourself a pair of glasses. 5. We know hand signs and blood thing isn't even that consistent across the series. Same as with other jutsu where if you have big enough mastery, you don't need hand signs anymore. But even if he did all that, it's still LESS impressive summoning feat than the one he did at start of the fight. That first summoning was like the Manda feat but on steroids. 6. He could first put him under genjutsu and then just order him to eat him. Why would he crawl into it? 7. I both did my homework and indeed make concrete statements. Unlike you. You can start taking notes. 8. _Oh and side note Deidara is smarter than Sasuke anyday Sasuke will never understand true genius and Deidara stated this in his final moments_ Now you're just straight up dickriding. As if the rest wasn't embarrassing enough. Watching the whole series and thinking Deidara is smarter than Sasuke is nothing short of delusion. The end dialogue of that fight itself just showed that Sasuke was always 3 steps ahead. Even Deidara knows this. 9. He didn't have to regain his chakra because he never RAN OUT of chakra to begin with. Watch the fucking video (by points 4 and 5 I was already convinced you didn't). Or learn to read. 10. It doesn't drain a lot. And he didn't use curse mark after he Chidori'd himself. You're literally making things up and sound like you don't even remember how this fight went. He used it against C2 and for a moment after C4, it's not spam you biased crybaby. He also clearly wasn't capable of competent flight without that wing, he only floated. Reminder that even one wing is strong enough to completely block a charge from Naruto (who was his equal at the time) and blow him away.
True, but by that logic, every fight naruto and sasuke ever had was "plot armor" The term just loses all meaning when we use it like that imo. Basically every protagonist has that level of plot armor till the story is gonna end. Thats just fiction.

If the writer wants someone to win, they win, if he wants them to lose, they lose, etc. Could easily say Jiraiya didn't kill Itachi because Kishimoto wanted him around for Sasuke. Likewise, Jiraiya couldn't be killed by the Akatsuki dou because he needed to be around for Naruto. Plot armor is a dumb excuse.
As much as I like Deidara (mostly for the "esthetic" and the cool techniques) I never felt like Sasuke didn't earn this victory. And it would have been silly to see Deidara kill a main character with his explosive ragequit technique. However, I used to hope Deidara would survive. Too bad Kishimoto gave such a cool design and creative fighting style to a character who was never meant to be much important.
There weren't any new sharingan powers this fight though. It was genjutsu, pre cog, seeing opponents hand signs and seeing chakra. All things we knew it could do by this point. Its all stuff Kakashi did vs zabuza in fact. Just on a higher level here I agree with the larger point about the sharingan. But this fight isn't responsible for that.
I’m glad, I get annoyed seeing these brought up over and over the "plot armor" comment was drilled into everyone's head by other creators and people that just don't like Sasuke as a character and it admittedly gets on my nerves lol, I wanted to do this video anyway and Grant helped with this insane research. Great video. They're not only wrong but hypocritical. Deidara was on the ground beaten then suddenly unleashed a Bijudama level explosion. Despite him & Sasuke confirming he had a little chakra left earlier (chapter 360, page 21, c359, p4). & he still evaded the landmines despite his condition. Kakashi disabled Zabuza's arms with a kunai (c32, p1-2). Yet giant shuriken pinning him down didn't stop Deidara. He removed them with his feet & used those same hands to create a clay bird in time. If they're so concerned about chakra & speed then why don't they say anything about this? How about a terminally ill, severely injured & near blind Itachi who had little chakra left, countering Kirin in time with Susano? Kirin uses natural lightning which moves at 1/1000 of a second, & Susano is a chakra heavy ability that even wore out a healthy Sasuke in a weaker stage (c466, p5). All this is so fine that the thought it it being strange never crosses their minds, but let's nitpick Sasuke who has feats proving he's capable, & whose every action is verbally explained in series. Theres so much evidence even aside from what's mentioned in the video. - Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru to acquire his power which he used for snakes techniques (c346, p7, c390, p22). - He never ran out of his own chakra let alone Oro's. - The paralysis effect of lightning is why he couldn't stand after shocking himself (308, p9). - He used more jutsu against Itachi before confirming he ran out. - & when he did he could not only stand, but jumped dozens of feet to the top of the pillar. Why? Cause he didn't shock himself.
This whole time I thought that Sasuke survived by reverse summoning himself to escape the situation entirely, which is why Suigetsu had to summon Manda to retrieve Sasuke. My original issue with the outcome of that battle was that Sasuke survived by performing reverse summoning, which had never been established before, but if that isn't even what happened then I can't really complain. Although I still think it's funny that the story tried to pretend that Sasuke had actually died.
It didn't need to be explained before it was always possible. The users teleport animals to their location. Logically they could teleport back with the animal.
@@sasukeiseasilythebestchara2954 It does not automatically follow that being able to bring something to your location means that you can also bring yourself to that location. It makes sense within the universe's logic, but anything that isn't established before it is utilized within a story is a contrivance. The mechanic of reverse summoning is something that requires you see it actually happen before you would assume that it was possible because the function behind summoning earlier in the story never suggests that the summoner can reverse summon. Before that point, the audience would never consider it was an option for a character to solve a problem within the story. While I think it's fine that it wasn't established beforehand, I don't think it makes for the most sound writing.
Another thing to note is that summoning techniques require an exorbitant amount of chakra depending on how big the summoned animal is. Dude summoned the largest snake in existence while "tired."
Besides the fact that it was physically impossible for him to Summon Manda (Snake version of Gamabunta who required a ton of chakra to summon), Put Manda under a genjutsu (so fast that Manda couldn't possibly even perceive Sasukes sharingan so his genjutsu wouldn't have registered), Making Manda open his mouth and getting inside it and then reverse summon him. Putting all that aside, how the fuck did Deidara not know lightning straight up countered all of his attacks? The dude had no back-up at all besides clay bomb, but larger or very small. Thats what I mean by plot armour, the dude went braindead when going against Sasuke.

Before this arc I don't recall any feats that showed him being faster than 10 times the speed of sound. (speed of sound 343 m / s with explosives being anywhere around 1700 - 10400 m/s) Even if he could be that fast, Manda has to be as fast as Sasuke and I seriously doubt he would instantly react after being summoned out of the blue by someone he isn't even expecting to summon him. Deidara knew his counter, thats why I don't understand why he hasn't developed at least one other jutsu that wasn't instantly disable by lightning style. He might have been surprised that Sasuke figured it out fast, but he was planning on taking on Itachi, who had knowledge on him. He trained his eye to see through genjutsu, but completely forgot about Itachi knowing the weakness of his one jutsu? He should have foreseen that in my opinion. I mean this is the guy who attacks in multiple waves. When fighting Gaara he put fail safes in place to catch him off guard, 1. Dropping a bomb on the city 2. Attacking with an out of sight fast moving explosive 3. Explosives mixed in his sand. He doesn't do brute force battles like Naruto, he strategizes. So no, he didn't have a backup. He only had clay bombs, which were brutally countered by simple lightning style. I don't know if there are any Facts in the manga that were not in the anime, but that is what was shown to me and I'm still calling bullshit on this whole fight. None the less it was still cool though, just a bit disappointing at the end.
@@atlas2282 he blitzed sound in the chunin exams in the forest. 6 year old gaara's sand blitzed a point blank explosion. This same sand from a 13 year old stronger gaara is fodderized by base saauke in the exam finals. You are insanely underating the speed of naruto characters/sasuke. The second you tried using real world speed of things you kinda lose the plot. Sound was surpassed concretely and immensely in the second arc. Shippuden is well beyond it. He summoned a snake before a bomb reached him at the start of the fight. He hadn't started the summon when the bomb went off and then the smoke clears and the snake is there. He can do it. Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it's inconsistent

Some things I disliked about the fight: Deidara still falling under genjutsu despite training his eye Electricity being able to defuse his C4 The Sharingan all of a sudden having microscopic vision, making it a Byakugan on steroids Deidara randomly rage quitting when they were in a stalemate
Well, it wasn't a stalemate. Sasuke was sort of mouthing off that deidara lost and deidara realized he couldn't win straight up so he rage quit. He literally realizes he lost to the sharingan again and freaks out. The sharingan was established to have cellular level vision earlier than this actually. Kakashi could see the cell sized individual attacks of the Rasenshuriken vs Kakuzu. Thats how he explains the attack so throughly. So it was shown there first. Not this fight. Deidara claimed he trained his eye, but how? There isn't anyone with sharingan to practice on. So I dont really think its weird his training failed on the real thing in practice. Kakashi already showed how earth style loses to lightning. Deidara is a stone ninja. Makes sense his attack is earth based. So sasuke having an edge is fine imo.
The sharingan Always had microscopico eyesight. That i is the same power who can see chakra nature and has super kinetic vision to the point of slown down the perception.
All of which he managed to do with so little chakra that he could not even stand and in the, literally milli seconds after the explosion it could hit him.😂😂😂
I agree with most of this, but Deidara has shown being able to make a shadow clone before (not a clay clone, a shadow clone) so he could have made a shadow clone to plant the landmines if it was 1 v 1

He never used shadow clones in the mangs so if you're remembering an anime scene correctly it's not canon. Plus shadow clones evenly divide the user's chakra so he would have been out even sooner.
A shadow clone can't grab his mines and phase them along with himself into the ground and plant them. That combo is clearly a stragedy deidara came up with while keep toji's mysterious ability in mind.
I still think the ending of the fight is either a plot hole or a retcon. While sure you can say that Sasuke isn't completely out of chakra the problem is that he still falls to his knees and starts panting so he's clearly at least exhausted and the problem with this is that in part 1 Naruto needed to learn to use nine tails chakra to do a summoning. I have a hard time believing that a Sasuke who's too tired to even stand has more chakra than the kid Naruto who more chakra than Kakashi if I remember correctly.

@@sasukeiseasilythebestchara2954 I don't have a problem with c0 because we have no idea how much chakra it costs. For all we know it could be a jutsu which requires 0 chakra just like Kirin. Summoning on the other hand is established to require so much chakra that a character like Naruto who's constantly being praised for his massive chakra reserves still has to rely on the 9 tails.
Sasuke wasn't tired. Using chidori on himself took a physical toll, which when followed by sasuke using chidori nagashi right after, his knees temporarily gave out. Sasuke has been stated to have a large Chakra pool since before he was genin and used katon against kakashi. Not as large as kid naruto obviously, but still large for his age. That ratio never stopped but continued throughout and into his adulthood.

Well it is and Is not plot armor. We see Sasuke doing something with the Sharingan that until that point was something more of the Byakugan. Of course Sasuke being that important for the story, he was going to win that fight just that... As expected from Kishimoto, he did it the right way.
Kakashi displayed it first when reading how many times RasenShuriken sliced Kakuzu, and why is it, "of course Sasuke was going to win because he's important to the story." Instead of, "Deidara was a jobber side villian meant to show off Sasuke's strength so of course he was going to lose."? Plus being important doesn't guarantee victory given main characters lose all the time.

I'm fact the rasenshuriken attack is not celular sized. It destroys the chakra network of the cells but it's not the same. Sasuke literally has been the only one doing something like that, with a regular Sharingan. Seeing his own blood cells... Like, you two really dont know jack shit about writing... If Kakashi would be able to see at celular size like that, there would not be a necesity of Tsunate telling Kakashi to not let Naruto use that jutsu. @@sasukeiseasilythebestchara2954 I think Itachi implanting his Amaterasu in Sasuke could have helped trigger the awakening and finding out the truth about Itachi caused more than enough of the right conditions for Mangekyo to awaken. Itachi didn't technically kill his best friend either and he awakened Mangekyo. Also you need to realize if there was nothing holding Itachi back then Sasuke would have been curb stomped. And I guess we can count his victory over Naruto as a legitimate victory even though it was a cheap move.

Based on his feats in the war - Bee, Hachibi, the Kage, their guards, & Team 7 would have been wiped out with ease. But with MS side effects he faced difficulty. When I said sick I was thinking about Orochimaru. Nonetheless, holding back applies to Sasuke aswell. He wanted to question Itachi about who his accomplice was in the massacre. I think the main issue with that situation is that Sasuke summoned Manda then just put him in a Genjutsu which is admittedly very weird especially when he was in a point blank explosion.

If Deidara was so much stronger than Sasuke wouldn't have been able to counter. Especially while holding back in a 2v1 fight where Deidara had intel, a preplanned strategy (landmines), & counter (against Genjutsu). Taking away a character's ability is bad arguement. Especially those incorporated into their fighting style with years of training that would otherwise be spent on something else. Both had advantages. Like Deidara being able to fly, yet Sasuke still closed the gap. Tobi telling Deidara to stop is why Sasuke didn't immediately deduce his weakness. Itachi is fast enough to summon his Susanno to block a *Kirin* so we know that he's no slowpoke meaning Sasuke had to be at least a little bit fast to keep up with Itachi even though he was holding back.

Another great speed moment is when he not only got inbetween Suigetsu and Jugo a second before they hit each other, but summoned two giant snakes which completely wrapped around them (chapter 351, pages 11-12).
Not to mention Sasuke held back during the whole fight because he wanted intel about Itachi. He could've easily killed him with any chidori variant instead of punching him since Deidara was completely caught off guard.

Deidara claiming Sasuke is out of chakra and people taking it as fact is something I notice that happens a lot in any show/book/manga especially when it comes to power scaling. Characters are fallible and can be wrong about things but a lot of the time people tend to take everything they say as fact unless told by another character that the first is just wrong.

Meanwhile Kakashi had to actually try against that, while Deidara was exhausted after 3 days and short on ammo.
But you know what's sad? That most of this community doesn't even understand what plot armor even means so they won't be convinced. Plot armor to them is as fluid and convenient as equality for buzzfead feminists.

2. What complex chakra networks? It just sees chakra. C4 filled air with chakra. Any dojutsu should be able to see that much, even Rinnegan.
In addition to that, Sasuke just outrun the thing and THEN realized what's going on. Even without Sharingan, the only way C4 would get him was to feel safe right after the explosion got off and come back right away into it's range. The reality is that C4 Karura is simply too slow.
3. While I agree that Deidara is smart (has arguably better raw combat intelligence feats than Itachi), training against the thing that humiliated you isn't a sign of it. Anyone not doing that would have to be stupid.
4. There wasn't any speed of light. And if you don't see how Deidara's ambush at start of the fight is faster than C0, then I don't know what to tell you. Buy yourself a pair of glasses.
5. We know hand signs and blood thing isn't even that consistent across the series. Same as with other jutsu where if you have big enough mastery, you don't need hand signs anymore. But even if he did all that, it's still LESS impressive summoning feat than the one he did at start of the fight. That first summoning was like the Manda feat but on steroids.
6. He could first put him under genjutsu and then just order him to eat him. Why would he crawl into it?

As much as I like Deidara (mostly for the "esthetic" and the cool techniques) I never felt like Sasuke didn't earn this victory. And it would have been silly to see Deidara kill a main character with his explosive ragequit technique.
However, I used to hope Deidara would survive. Too bad Kishimoto gave such a cool design and creative fighting style to a character who was never meant to be much important.

Great video. They're not only wrong but hypocritical. Deidara was on the ground beaten then suddenly unleashed a Bijudama level explosion. Despite him & Sasuke confirming he had a little chakra left earlier (chapter 360, page 21, c359, p4).
& he still evaded the landmines despite his condition. Kakashi disabled Zabuza's arms with a kunai (c32, p1-2). Yet giant shuriken pinning him down didn't stop Deidara. He removed them with his feet & used those same hands to create a clay bird in time. If they're so concerned about chakra & speed then why don't they say anything about this?
How about a terminally ill, severely injured & near blind Itachi who had little chakra left, countering Kirin in time with Susano? Kirin uses natural lightning which moves at 1/1000 of a second, & Susano is a chakra heavy ability that even wore out a healthy Sasuke in a weaker stage (c466, p5).
All this is so fine that the thought it it being strange never crosses their minds, but let's nitpick Sasuke who has feats proving he's capable, & whose every action is verbally explained in series.
Theres so much evidence even aside from what's mentioned in the video.
- Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru to acquire his power which he used for snakes techniques (c346, p7, c390, p22).
- He never ran out of his own chakra let alone Oro's.
- The paralysis effect of lightning is why he couldn't stand after shocking himself (308, p9).
- He used more jutsu against Itachi before confirming he ran out.
- & when he did he could not only stand, but jumped dozens of feet to the top of the pillar. Why? Cause he didn't shock himself.
This whole time I thought that Sasuke survived by reverse summoning himself to escape the situation entirely, which is why Suigetsu had to summon Manda to retrieve Sasuke. My original issue with the outcome of that battle was that Sasuke survived by performing reverse summoning, which had never been established before, but if that isn't even what happened then I can't really complain. Although I still think it's funny that the story tried to pretend that Sasuke had actually died.
It didn't need to be explained before it was always possible. The users teleport animals to their location. Logically they could teleport back with the animal.

It makes sense within the universe's logic, but anything that isn't established before it is utilized within a story is a contrivance.
The mechanic of reverse summoning is something that requires you see it actually happen before you would assume that it was possible because the function behind summoning earlier in the story never suggests that the summoner can reverse summon. Before that point, the audience would never consider it was an option for a character to solve a problem within the story. While I think it's fine that it wasn't established beforehand, I don't think it makes for the most sound writing.
Another thing to note is that summoning techniques require an exorbitant amount of chakra depending on how big the summoned animal is. Dude summoned the largest snake in existence while "tired."

Put Manda under a genjutsu (so fast that Manda couldn't possibly even perceive Sasukes sharingan so his genjutsu wouldn't have registered),
Making Manda open his mouth and getting inside it and then reverse summon him.
Putting all that aside, how the fuck did Deidara not know lightning straight up countered all of his attacks? The dude had no back-up at all besides clay bomb, but larger or very small.

I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know the details,
But when Deidara was actually exploding Sasuke hasn't even started the summoning.
Before this arc I don't recall any feats that showed him being faster than 10 times the speed of sound.
(speed of sound 343 m / s with explosives being anywhere around 1700 - 10400 m/s)
Even if he could be that fast, Manda has to be as fast as Sasuke and I seriously doubt he would instantly react after being summoned out of the blue by someone he isn't even expecting to summon him.
Deidara knew his counter, thats why I don't understand why he hasn't developed at least one other jutsu that wasn't instantly disable by lightning style.
He might have been surprised that Sasuke figured it out fast, but he was planning on taking on Itachi, who had knowledge on him. He trained his eye to see through genjutsu, but completely forgot about Itachi knowing the weakness of his one jutsu? He should have foreseen that in my opinion.
I mean this is the guy who attacks in multiple waves. When fighting Gaara he put fail safes in place to catch him off guard, 1. Dropping a bomb on the city 2. Attacking with an out of sight fast moving explosive 3. Explosives mixed in his sand.
He doesn't do brute force battles like Naruto, he strategizes.
So no, he didn't have a backup. He only had clay bombs, which were brutally countered by simple lightning style.
I don't know if there are any Facts in the manga that were not in the anime, but that is what was shown to me and I'm still calling bullshit on this whole fight.
None the less it was still cool though, just a bit disappointing at the end.
@@atlas2282 he blitzed sound in the chunin exams in the forest. 6 year old gaara's sand blitzed a point blank explosion. This same sand from a 13 year old stronger gaara is fodderized by base saauke in the exam finals. You are insanely underating the speed of naruto characters/sasuke. The second you tried using real world speed of things you kinda lose the plot. Sound was surpassed concretely and immensely in the second arc. Shippuden is well beyond it.
He summoned a snake before a bomb reached him at the start of the fight. He hadn't started the summon when the bomb went off and then the smoke clears and the snake is there. He can do it. Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it's inconsistent

Some things I disliked about the fight:
Deidara still falling under genjutsu despite training his eye
Electricity being able to defuse his C4
The Sharingan all of a sudden having microscopic vision, making it a Byakugan on steroids
Deidara randomly rage quitting when they were in a stalemate
Well, it wasn't a stalemate. Sasuke was sort of mouthing off that deidara lost and deidara realized he couldn't win straight up so he rage quit. He literally realizes he lost to the sharingan again and freaks out.
The sharingan was established to have cellular level vision earlier than this actually. Kakashi could see the cell sized individual attacks of the Rasenshuriken vs Kakuzu. Thats how he explains the attack so throughly. So it was shown there first. Not this fight.
Deidara claimed he trained his eye, but how? There isn't anyone with sharingan to practice on. So I dont really think its weird his training failed on the real thing in practice.
Kakashi already showed how earth style loses to lightning. Deidara is a stone ninja. Makes sense his attack is earth based. So sasuke having an edge is fine imo.

That i is the same power who can see chakra nature and has super kinetic vision to the point of slown down the perception.
All of which he managed to do with so little chakra that he could not even stand and in the, literally milli seconds after the explosion it could hit him.😂😂😂

I agree with most of this, but Deidara has shown being able to make a shadow clone before (not a clay clone, a shadow clone) so he could have made a shadow clone to plant the landmines if it was 1 v 1

He never used shadow clones in the mangs so if you're remembering an anime scene correctly it's not canon. Plus shadow clones evenly divide the user's chakra so he would have been out even sooner.
A shadow clone can't grab his mines and phase them along with himself into the ground and plant them.
That combo is clearly a stragedy deidara came up with while keep toji's mysterious ability in mind.
I still think the ending of the fight is either a plot hole or a retcon. While sure you can say that Sasuke isn't completely out of chakra the problem is that he still falls to his knees and starts panting so he's clearly at least exhausted and the problem with this is that in part 1 Naruto needed to learn to use nine tails chakra to do a summoning. I have a hard time believing that a Sasuke who's too tired to even stand has more chakra than the kid Naruto who more chakra than Kakashi if I remember correctly.

Summoning on the other hand is established to require so much chakra that a character like Naruto who's constantly being praised for his massive chakra reserves still has to rely on the 9 tails.
Sasuke wasn't tired. Using chidori on himself took a physical toll, which when followed by sasuke using chidori nagashi right after, his knees temporarily gave out.
Sasuke has been stated to have a large Chakra pool since before he was genin and used katon against kakashi. Not as large as kid naruto obviously, but still large for his age. That ratio never stopped but continued throughout and into his adulthood.
The last c0 Was plot armor but the rest is just Sasuke Countering Deidara

Kakashi displayed it first when reading how many times RasenShuriken sliced Kakuzu, and why is it, "of course Sasuke was going to win because he's important to the story." Instead of, "Deidara was a jobber side villian meant to show off Sasuke's strength so of course he was going to lose."? Plus being important doesn't guarantee victory given main characters lose all the time.

Looking back you're right but Sharingan could always see chakra. Kakashi was checking Lee to see what gate he was at & it's implied by Orochimaru & Kakashi that the more skilled you are with Sharingan & Byakugan the more you can see (chapters 49, page 16, c79, p17).

Can be used to excuse anything because everything is due to it. People typically just use it against things they dislike. Why didn't Itachi & Kisame kill Jiraiya? Because he was needed for Naruto. Why didn't Jiraiya kill Itachi? Because he was needed for Sasuke. But these characters don't hurt peoples feelings so excuses aren't made.

What do you mean by legitimate? More of that "plot" excuse (everything is plot in a fictional series like Sasuke not copying over 1000 jutsu like Kakashi & gaining EMS right after Itachi died)? Or the "he was sick" type of cope (as if theres any rules in combat)?
@@sasukeiseasilythebestchara2954 I think Itachi implanting his Amaterasu in Sasuke could have helped trigger the awakening and finding out the truth about Itachi caused more than enough of the right conditions for Mangekyo to awaken. Itachi didn't technically kill his best friend either and he awakened Mangekyo.
Also you need to realize if there was nothing holding Itachi back then Sasuke would have been curb stomped. And I guess we can count his victory over Naruto as a legitimate victory even though it was a cheap move.
@@clasher138 I said EMS, which is what he obtained when taking Itachi's eyes. He could have bypassed MS entirely. Based on his feats in the war - Bee, Hachibi, the Kage, their guards, & Team 7 would have been wiped out with ease. But with MS side effects he faced difficulty.
When I said sick I was thinking about Orochimaru. Nonetheless, holding back applies to Sasuke aswell. He wanted to question Itachi about who his accomplice was in the massacre. Otherwise he never had to get near, let alone enter the building. Kirin one-shots from a mile away.

I think the main issue with that situation is that Sasuke summoned Manda then just put him in a Genjutsu which is admittedly very weird especially when he was in a point blank explosion.

If Deidara was so much stronger than Sasuke wouldn't have been able to counter. Especially while holding back in a 2v1 fight where Deidara had intel, a preplanned strategy (landmines), & counter (against Genjutsu).
Kakashi also had Sharingan and lightning yet didn't do anywhere near aswell despite having Kyuubi Naruto and Team Guy's help.

Taking away a character's ability is bad arguement. Especially those incorporated into their fighting style with years of training that would otherwise be spent on something else. Both had advantages. Like Deidara being able to fly, yet Sasuke still closed the gap.
Tobi telling Deidara to stop is why Sasuke didn't immediately deduce his weakness. He didn't know if the bombs weren't activated by choice or if Chidori neutralized it (chapter 361, pages 11-16).
Deidara is overrated, as you clearly display.
