Aamir's logic in terms of equal pay is faulty. Does he consider why the market force in India does not want to see women in the lead?? It IS a
female vs male issue.
He's right! He's also implicitly saying the audiences come to watch a male star rather than a female star. Compare an Aamir film with a film starring a top actress (without any big male star). See what happens with the turnouts. The audiences need to change.

And I think that is slowly changing now though which is a good thing. Like Kareena in Heroine, Vidya's 2 films Kaahani and DIrty Picture. Or even Sridevi's English Vinglish. It's nice to see that Bollywood's market is changing and it sucks that we are in the 21st century and now only it is starting to change. Look at Hollywood, Angelina Jolie did Salt which was suppose to be Tom Cruise's male dominated film. It's time Indian films changed their market.

I congratulate Police Commissoner beibg bold to ask questions to film actors and not get scared of consequences . I think they should have give opportunity to Rani and Karina. Both are outspoken and get involved with public on some issues.

Interviews should be conducted with a purpose in mind and not in wane. I really could not figure out the purpose of the questions asked and why there is no one who can improve the quality of these interviews...
i am actually very dissapointed by aamir's answers , i always thought he was one of those kind of person that thought outside the box and knew more than the normals, but when he said he's "tallish" is just about his family and loved ones well being and security, i was brought down . i would expect him to answer that question as a whole on the basis of humanity.

i bought the dvd...i think his satyamev jayate episodes were more trilling to watch...honestly. it isnt one of his best performances. HE seemed so wooden and stiff. He was more animate in Gajini. If the truth was out there...the truth in the movie should have been..LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE...Indian men. ...treat your women with respect and listen to your wife...I hated how he tr eated her in the movie...felt so sorry for rani as the wife but she showed strength...
